Wow! So i went out and watered and sprayed the plants off afterwards. Just imagine a movie scene where the dude is painting and winds up with paint all over himself and everything else!🤦‍♂️🤣 the kids and wife did find a mantis that i put on a plant with aphids! : ) with the branches flopped over i was able to see what needed to get tied off, so i ran some more twine. got enough of the herb resin on me that i broke out in a rash on my arms 🤣 long shirts and gloves when handling it from here on out lol!
Holy Shitz!!!! 🐻 is allergic to weed!!!!! Now I think I’ve heard everything.

Wait, you’re in California right? Yeah I forget

Busted out the plastic and string! 🤣 have an old swing frame that was left here and I’ve moved it all over the yard and used it for all sorts of shit! Not the first time it’s been part of a BearWater rain cover! 😬 im sure ill be out there during the storm propping the pooled low spots up!😂 hoping this will buy the plants time enough to finish up. Not stoked on the pests, that is what it is though at this point. SOON! 🤩

Ma' Man! I had a feeling the cold will drop fast this year. I've been avoiding about preparing. Homie, PVC and some clear plastic.

Thanks McFly! 😂 im building a frame next year that will accommodate transparent corrugated panels! the screen will be over that and then when the time comes if need ill be able to pop the panels up over the patch and call it good! glad i have the plastic and string though dont get me wrong! : ) I honestly, when i started this shit did not expect to even come close to where im at right now, in duration of grow and quantity of herb! 😳😬 🤩 i had zero plans on covering anything out there! 😂

It might come down to some pvc! But with my redneck engendering and my “PhD” in digging im thinking i can get some 2x4s strung up and away we go! : ) ✌️ thanks Ghost! 🤩

yeah man it was 90 two days ago here. today its low 70s with the nighttime lows in the 50s! kind of a fun finish to the season if you ask me! one year on the big mountain i was watching the hoop blow sideways with the the plants inside that! 🤣 it was wild!

You have come a long way in a short time. As long as you’re happy with the outcome that’s all that matters really. Taking the extra time to do things that protect your hard work and effort will pay off in the long run. Keep up the good work and you’ll have so much dank nugs you’ll be set up for life.

Thank you a ton : ) Im well aware I’m very unorthodox in my ways lol. But yeah I’m becoming more pleased with the outcomes of my efforts!

Dude you are spot on! Way too much effort (for as little effort there was) went into letting a few days of rain mess things up!

Thanks for the motivation! 💪🏻😍✌️

Can't go wrong with 1"PVC. I don't know where about yer at but here in the CO our " fall" lasts about a week. Then the weather gets crazy like my first kid on his first date

Depending on yer zone, with a makeshift greenhouse one could easily grow all year, juss make sure you have an in an out fer air.
Definitely make sure yer neighbors are to unleashing males. Good Arms to ya!

I hear you on the pvc : ) it is very very versatile. If i dont do lumber with a legit clear corrugated panels ill defiantly use pvc, I’ve used it int he past for hoops over herb and it works great!

Norther cali, kind of near oldchucky! : ) we’ll get a decent fall for the most part temp wise, if its anything like the past few years, we’ll get these few rains early and then its dry as a bone until January! One year we got 2 near 2 feet of snow in march! F’d the whole front yard garden plans up big time🤣

If yer water tite, lumber is a very good choice. You have a great foundation. Check out McElroySteel millfer yer panaels

Cover mostly worked! Im going to go out there today at some point and tape a little so the plastic keeps the footprint over the plants (it was bunching up a little bit and exposing the two ends). And I’ll get out in the shed and move the plants over! We had school today but my middle child isn’t feeling well so we called out. Still cant go out into the shed for very long when im duty so we’ll see. Hope everyone has an awesome week! Work, weed, family, friends hobbies! Let’s get after people! 💪 😆✌️

yeah just enough : ) i didnt care about the plants really in regards to the fire danger getting knocked down, at least until the end of October LOL!

how are your girls doing out there? we are supposed to get 20 mph winds up here, i doubt we will. i hope we dont hahah!

im thinking half of them will come down maybe Wednesday? Friday? does the cold hasten things up or slow it down?

Yeah, I’ll be out messing around trying to support! I found that it really doesn’t get very cold around here so doesn’t have much of an effect other than color! What really affects when they are done is the growers nerves! Or lack of thereof!😂🍻

One of the reasons I put those 🦌 blind pics up. It’s 2” and with a little 🤔 you can have a greenhouse that can be taken down. Don’t glue everything, 4” x 1/4” stainless carriage bolts will hold it together
