Carterpillars gone for good.No Chemicals

At the beginning of the summer I came across something about the caterpillars and how to prevent them from Living in the plants.

These Caterpillars are the "Babys" of the Cabbage Moth, the white Butterfly you see flying around your plant. I always had problems untill this year.
These white Butterflies are teritoriell, if there is already a white Butterflie, the other ones won't come into your garden. That's when the Cabbage Moth Decoy comes Handy. I did hang them everywhere in my Greenhouse and I've not seen any Butterflies close to my plant. They did a Flyby and saw the Decoys and then they left. Hmmm never heard this. Yes i've got dozens of them moths. I'm harvesting now because of the damage there creating. I'm in the Roseburg area of Oregon. I was using BT and even neem spray earlier in flower but i stopped about 2wks ago. I guess the hatch happened then after a brief rain. Mine are within a week of harvest anyway.

Funny you should say that..early this summer i saw a dog walker (on youtube) who kept flies away with an imitation dragonfly on a spring...so i made one with some clay, clear packaging and 2 paperclips, hung it over my plant in the garden and i didnt get one aphid or insect on that plant , the aphids even chose to lay on my lily pads rather than anywhere else in the garden , which ive never seen before.

Having “raised” a caterpillar from my garden, I can confirm that the cabbage moth isn’t the culprit in my case. It was a small brown moth. But there’s a ton of different caterpillars and inchworms.

I live close to Winston. ....lol Was the first time for me. I always had a lot of Butterflys,....not This year. Google it. They even sell Decoys on Amazon. But you can make them DIY .....easy, peasy.

I find it hard to believe that the moth can identify a "scare crow" Dragon fly visually... but hey if it works, it works...
