The fan is at ground level, well under the rim of the bag. I have another 6 inch fan just below the light over a foot above the plant on the post to the bottom left of the pic. The plant does not experience direct airflow ever. Is that still too much? That fans far too close, looks like too much wind you using extraction as well?
No need to run humidifier, but if you must outside the tent use extraction to pull in air.
Is that a temp and humidity probe, is it under the light? If so reads wrong and a bad place for it needs to be shaded from all light and wind, can place that outside the tent too.
Lots of reason it's struggling probably blame that fan in first instance if it's being used.
Good luck!
The humidifier keeps the tent 10-15%+ above ambient humidity and helps keep the temps a bit lower. I cant have it outside the tent, it would never increase the humidity enough. It would also come with a 2-3f+ increase in temperature. Unless Im wrong and 40% or lower humidity is fine? It would probably be even lower than ambient humidity in the tent with its warmer air, so say 35%? Maybe lower? idk if I ever properly measured it. I could try tomorrow and see the difference.
I know about the light warming thermometers etc, but the hole for the temp sensor is on the bottom, so while not ideal, it works fine. I also monitor the temp inside the exhaust vent, ambient temperature outside the tent, and the leaves with a laser thermometer when Im feeling scientific.
So at 3pm it was 79.3F ~51% humidity according to that sensor hanging in the pic and the exhaust measured 78.6F ~52% humidity. With the airflow in the tent the exhaust is likely closer to the true temperature, but its very close. Ambient temp was 75f. Humidity 40%. Tent humidity might be a bit off because thats about when I watered so the tent door opened. I tried to get the most honest interpretation of the data though.(I promise!)
The pics I posted were taken 5 mins before lights out, I dont think there is any struggle happening? I think all of my plants have drooped just before lights out. I'll get a pic or two uploaded tomorrow and see how she looks.
If you see a struggling plant here I would love to know what youre seeing that Im not.
