Through 40 years as a plumber and running my own business over 20 years I've seen some dozies. There are a lot of people who should never be allowed to touch a pipe ever again but the funniest thing I've ever seen was someone, had to be a handyman or an idiot who used an ABS 1 1/2" tee for a pipe extension on a bathroom sink and to close the opening they took a yellow kitchen glove and wired it over the opening. Every time water was run the glove would start to expand the fingers out😵‍💫 This was long before cell phones and I didn't carry a camera. I'd give a lot to have had a video of that glove coming to life🤣
You can't just say there is a "correct" way, as differing methods hum a different energy so sometimes the "alternative" energy is the better one like cross threading, here this will explain:

fuck off you sanctimonious idiot,. I didnt realise there were 'rules' . Ill go somewhere where there are less rules.

This is a great community centered around cannabis. If you ever get an itch to talk politics and controversial news topics, you can always pop in at our site, The Rantboard.

Just an explanation of the "Dark Underbelly" banner over there. We started out in 2011 after The San Diego Union/Tribune cut off commenting on their website. There were a lot of regulars who posted over there and one of them set a site up so we could keep up the conversation. And one of their editors was interviewed on CNN who was covering the story of the newspaper switching to Facebook comments. This editor said the commenting section of their site was like getting a glimpse into the dark underbelly of the human soul. So after that news clip was made, we decided to make it our slogan 😂

Well, we know how folks feel about posting politics stuff here. But what about politically incorrect memes? 🤣

Wow. The talent in this video is amazing. I watched them all become stars and here you can easily see why. And while I wasn't a fan of many of them every single one, regardless of music style, was phenomenal🥰

There was a pretty recent movie about the making of that was awesome on that level and how it was done, and how it was more or less a hostage situation engineered by Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson.

I believe the best rule of thumb is try not to post something that another pot lover could be offended by. I try very hard not to do that purposely and I'm getting better. I honestly couldn't give a rats ass where someone was born, the color of their skin, who they want to rub uglies with or even their politics or religion, or lack of it but as a HOBBY site the common theme is the HOBBY and anything that takes away from the unity of the membership of that HOBBY should never be allowed or tolerated, imho: BUT, we all agreed to follow the site rules when we joined so there's really no excuse.

Can't we all be adults and talk about these things like Civilized people? NO!

Politics and Religion have started all the wars throughout history and will continue until the end of time, I'm pretty damn sure so these ideas and strongly held beliefs will always clash and divide people and is the reason Civilized People have learned these lessons from history. While most of these Civilized People also strongly believe in Freedom of SPEECH we also know what happens when allowed to come between people and why every hobby group I've ever know has these same rules. So do some families during gatherings because of the friction it puts on the whole group.

So, let's focus on why we're all here and leave the divisions for other outlets and rally around and assist everyone here doing and learning how to grow, process and use this incredible plant. Cause honestly it's the reason we joined this site🥰

NECESSITY.

The saying is that necessity is the mother of invention. Want to guess who it's father is?

LAZINESS. 🤣
Hhhahaha! Hell yeah man! I know😆 just being a dumbass on purpose 🤪

well, thanks for nothing DAD! hereditary heart disease, alcoholism and a small dick! cant forget the laziness!🤣

Just finished the last bit of my small larfy jar of Apple Fritter. Moving on to the larger but lower buds on the secondary stems. A whole quart jar. Been in cure jars 30 days after burping.

Last jar has all the tops. 16 secondary and 2 inch top on stems.

Lol you took that to a whole new personal level!

What I mean is a lot of shit that gets invented comes about because somebody scratched their chin and said you know, there's got to be an easier way of doing this... and voila! Laziness drives ingenuity! 🤣

This is the way of the Flat Rate Mechanic.
Or parts changer whatever.
After a couple of years I made lots of cash from GM and then an Indy chain. Had GM try to steal a tool I invented and then tried to get me fired saying I could not do the recalls in the time paid.
Fuckem.

I think it was Steve Jobs who said something along the lines of he’d give a new project to the lazy fuckers because they would figured out an easier way to get from A to Z in less steps 🤣 MF’r was beyond genius LOL!

What blew me away in the auto mechanic industry is the books they have out there showing the correct way to remove parts out of the way or a bolt or whatever and how that can save HOURS on the job, but they’ll still charge you for the “it takes this long so thats the price” 🤣 (I’ve never seen these books, just worked with a mechanic who was telling me about them?) maybe he was full of shit? 🤣 ✌️

If your mechanic needs the book to get a part off and back on you need a new mechanic.
This is not a put down of any mechanic. This shit is so complex now the mechanic that can bounce from a Toyota to a GM and then a Mercedes are about all gone. Even shit like alignments now has active sensors to calibrate. Alignment racks were where we kept the new guys 25 years ago. Now it requires a freaking scan tool.
Give a basic guy a VW with a dead battery. If it is flat dead it requires 2 calibrations and registering the battery. Not gunna get that at 75% of the shops out there anymore.

For my part I learned to respect torque spec lol. I need the book for that one. This applies to those goddamn watering system connectors.
I want to write an entire book on cross threading theory and see if I get millions... this would not be 100% impossible.
