Flood and Drain.. how often are we changing the reservoir out?

Newbie ish here, looking for a bit of advice on Flood and Drain, any advice appreciated.

Just setting up an IWS Trident 9 buckets being used, 250 litre tank. 5x5 tent. How often are we changing the reservoir for fresh? I have read some saying weekly. That'll run through some nutes if I change out that often with a ruddy big tank!

I have DWC, once a week I change water to PH fer about 4-5 hrs. Then add nutrients. I think it helps the root zone to use up extra build up, an it makes my roots nice a shiny

Thanks mate, I'm using liquid (Canna Aqua). 2 weeks sounds more viable.. is it cheaper to use powdered notes? Which root additive you using? My ladies just planted yesterday

I have been using the three part liquid from Cronk ( micro,veg and bloom) I like it although it tends to be a bit messy. I will be switching over to Dakine powder after my current grow is done.I also use Voodoo juice to avoid root rot.

No res, one tent Indica one Sativa. I give them different nutrition depending on stage. I have 3-2.5gal buckets. They each go through a gallon a day. So I really don't have to change I just feed.

No root additive, I have so much O2 pumping into each bucket I there is no need
