Another chilly night. Current temp 49. Low of 34 tonight with possible frost again. I have sampled several plants so far, and no disappointments yet. The “driveway” has me stumped right now. A nice lemon taste, I hope somehow it’s SLH, but doubtful.

Oh my hands! Anyone else feeling the pain? Damn I’m getting old. I used to be able to trim pot all day and not take a break really. Now, an hour, equals an hour break!
OG Kush and Father in the pictures. What I like to call, nice donkey cocks! 😂 View attachment 2543214View attachment 2543215View attachment 2543216View attachment 2543217View attachment 2543218

Yeah the colas on the OG Kush are massive. Growing one myself, but still haven’t finish taking her down. One of the easiest plants I’ve ever grown. Hardly needing feeding and for the size of the buds was fairly resistant to rot, mites, and the worms. This is the bottom 2/3 of a cola (already harvest the top). Rain is coming early next week so will finish her up over the weekend.

A few years ago I switched to 5 gallon air-tight buckets due to too many jars.
That's what I'm looking at using this year. Probably use my ARTIC cooler, too. Then I can vac bag it, once cured.

Should be enough there to last me till next harvest.....I hope 🤣🤣🤣

This is exactly the time to spray pre emergent. Early spring and after last fall harvest. If the land owner is the tender he'll know but a lot of land is leased.

Yup leased field so all I can do is wait to see if someone who knows anything shows up when I’m around.
So the Christmas tree industry uses lots of fungicides and insecticides and generally they opt for high impact fast action chemicals.
A number of those insecticides are targeted at the central nervous system and it doesn’t matter whether you are bug or human.
I did harvest the best from the last two plants and I will see if testing is an affordable option though I expect sticker shock 😳

My large plant took me 4 hours to chop up and hang. Another day to chop into smaller branches and clean water leafs...
Yeah! Start chopping a main branch and a few more and it doesnt look to crazy… then start cutting those down and oh boy you better have some space to hang! 🤣 i wasn’t dealing with no 4 hour take down time though lol!

Last time I did a plant like that, it took me six months! I was in it for the long cure, though

Gmorn everyone!!! A special hello to all you crazy Canadians that are still pushing your plants through this frosty morning. I left my coffee outside last night had 1/4 in of slush on the top of it this morning. Plants are kinda hanging but they will survive. I’m still looking for more cloudy and amber trichs this should help me get closer I hope. I have a couple of them that are there one is just stacked with trichs I’ll get some pics this afternoon when I chop it. I like to wait for the heat of the day I think they plump up somewhat? Maybe I’m just weird? Time for a puff!!!

Probably some of the finest you’ve ever smoked though right?! : )

I wanted to hang long and full but I HAD TO rinse the buds for going into my shed, and didn’t want to just dunk once in the 50gal trash can rather the three bucket system.

Dude next year is going to be off the hook! 🤩

I may try and build a better dry box for the outdoor side of things. Really didn’t like mixing the two styles ( pests)

I was all excited. My largesr yield was less than 1 ounce up to this year. Learning process....now geez....18 ounce on the large one....these other patio pots I will get several ounces out of each one...

Yes. The longer I hang it the better it gets. My opinion, of course

YYEASSSHHH! As long as it’s not 90 degrees! 🤦🏼‍♂️ did a couple of those over the summer with my indoor… do not recommend LOL 😂

Nothing beats that low and slow 60/60! 🤩
