You've got the room to open it up more, as long as the footprint of your light is good at the edges I would go for it!

Yea light is fd6500 so across my whole 4x4 and do u think i should wait till the stretch is done to tie them down

I do mine constantly until they stop stretching.

The stems are flexible early and will become more woody. Less chance of breaking branches now
