my math stands to reason , you COULD run a solo shot glass grow in a full sized pringles can with a 120mm fan on the top and bottom for 100% air flow line the entire thing with the 15watt roll of grow light tape keep it bottom fed thru a drip pan and feed it on a drip like one for lizards it COULD work lmao lil weed tube hahahahah
Another grower, @voltage mentioned keeping moms in Kracky jars. Now I grow lettuce in Kracky bottles using 2oz solo cups every winter and I've kept a plant or 3 in a Kracky bottle/can but only for several weeks as it does stunt the plant. So a couple months ago I started 2 cuts, a Mother's Milk

It's a brilliant idea. Voltage says he's got a couple in Kracky as well. I'm going to take clones today, 3 or 4 off each and put one of each cuts into Kracky to replace the old ones but I'm also going to keep the old ones and see if I can take more cuts while the new ones are growing. I've had moms take up a LOT of space and I'm currently keeping 5 moms so this will be saving me tons of space and time as I only deal with the Kracky plants twice a month, 1st and 15th, today. Basically just replace nute water
For me this is a big win/win.

A plastic Pringles can would certainly work, but I'd stick to smallish autos in a box that size before building a full sized 4 x 4 because I'm gonna need a hell of lot more smoke than the little cabinet can possibly produce😉

Key words where normal day 1000 with waterdroplets 2000. Simulating daylight.
Soo they say a drop will magnifie light.
Thrn they say in nature that hapens all the time when it rains but clouds go away.
Final if i run my plants on max ppfd and then add water droplets common sense will say that a magnifier will make the max ppfd more than the plant can handle.
Now stop taging me flaty

indicated strong damage to the photosystems.

focused sunlight spots are common in nature, e.g., on days with intermittent rain and sunshine
And yet people spray plants all the time and witness none of this.

In fact I think this must be the hobby where the most plants and clones do get sprayed in full light.

Darn where's the section on damaged leaves from all these sprayers, asking for a friend who sprays his plants and can't work out why it grew healthy not burnt?

Do you even grow your own pot or are you here just to be a complete dick? Asking for a friend.

also to anyone who sees this question, if i built a underground greenhouse and i used a sun bowl to capture light then a series of 3 mirrors to shoot it into the green room will it work the same at a grow light ? i know this will with for like ... "light" ive done that a ton working on earth over the years but just wondering , i think it be super cool to build out like a cave feature type thing in my yard water on a small loop that feeds the plants year round temp control then some medieval lighting lmao i just see so many grow rooms and there like the same ? idk i just dont think they have to look so narcos

Just want to give you a thumbs up for trying to think outside the box. I don't want to pay for grow light as a matter of principle so I was noodling all kinds of ways I might set up an indoor grow powered by solar panels. Then I realized how ridiculous it sounded and decided to grow outdoors and if I wanted sun indoors I'd build a bona fide hard frame greenhouse and it would probably set me back the same amount a solar array would.

But getting to your idea, I seem to recall there are duct lights and I don't know if that's even what they're called... but you put them on your roof and it looks like a dome and a duct is run down to a lower floor ceiling and it provides natural light. I don't know if those would carry the energy plants need that far through a tube though. You might have better luck with what you're trying to do underground with solar panels, an inverter and some lights.

For a while I have had a 12 v inverter mounted in my daily driver. I used it for a mobile job I had programming and doing mobile diagnostics. I have used it to run my grow when the power goes out.
My unit is very old and will not carry the load of the 2 tents and all the stuff so this Prime Days I upgraded to a.3000 watt inverter that basically gives me a 25 amp service using a car as a source of power.
I had the last one vehicle mounted but instead I put 12v 4 gauge lead wires on both vehicles. With the inverter mounted in a house and not subject to shocks and temp extremes I hope it lasts a good long time.
$167 plus shutoff switches another $22

Some of the newer EV's like the Lightning are being equipped so they can be a whole house backup. But you gave me an old school idea. If you've got an ol vehicle with enough room in the engine compartment, why not set up an auxiliary pulley or two on a long serpentine to turn a couple extra alternators and charge a battery bank for the house while you commute. I would, but I'm just not that rednecked. 🤣

the actual horsepower needed to run an alternator powered inverter is not that much. Modern vehicles you would be hard pressed to find a car or truck with under 100 amps for an alternator.
At idle the unit will easily make most of that and the vehicle has very few electrical demands in " generator mode '.
this one is big enough to run both tents and a coffee pot at the same time. What more can a guy want?

What you on about I simply said water won't burn leaves after others said it would act as magnifying glass and BURN leaves.....

Then I got a face full of some guy determined to prove he is right and I'm wrong.

So what's the advice because I've got people spraying plants in midday sun, people spraying clones and plants in grow tents and never seen any damage but apparently now this is damaging and the op having a drip of water on his leaf would burn his plant!

🍿

You may wanna check out Solar Fibre Optics......pretty cool products!!
this is the juice !!!! im tellin ya i could dig a 80 by 30 ft trench finish out the insides like a cave super simple and a cheap A frame style roof to seal and cover it that would work perfect u could really deep dive to and make a water feature in the basen of it that catches the rain water and has koi fish for ur nutrition would look beautiful would take like 1 1/2 years to do and mabey 30k if u had the land before the solar wire stuff lol

Just as I suspected.

He is like a flat earther until he sees it he doesnt beleve it.yesterday he was talking about raining outside and not a single plant got burned then i showed him that sientists used the example in their paper soo he just changed it to indoor plants.now you have to find a documented case to prove him but i am not gonna play games with flat earthers.
