i woulda waited until the pistils were red but i feel there are so many different results to be had by doing different things. nice trichomes, unlike mine they look super healthy. love to see how they dry/cure out. how they taste, how the buzz is and how the others progress.
If you are referring to mine.....I wanted the trichomes amber....checked that boxs. The red pistels.... I still have 4 more plants waiting on amber trichomes....Thai Stick, Desfran, Albino Kush and ????..... My large Blue Dream.....never made amber.....waited 4 weeks after complete date....dried it, tested it, 22.7%THC, tasted it....turned out outstanding....good flavor....good head...thank god I got 17 ounces...

17 ounces. that's outstanding. i got somewhere under an ounce per plant. had expected to see some stretch when i set them to flower but it never happened. they may have gained a couple inches at best. still curing mine but initially they are decent smoke, my main intent is to harvest better tasting bud from the dispensary weed the seeds came from which was bland taste wise. so far they are at least as good as the original bud i bought that they came from.
nah, not too soon. i been sampling them since i was able to find enough material dry enough to smoke.
Before that plant the most important got from a plant was 3/4 of an ounce. So yes was excited.....I also during flower have boosted the P and K....from my first grows. That adda structure and weight to buds. My other plants this grow have been between 3 and 6 ounces per.
i've considered trying something different from the ferts i do have. what i have is mostly granular organic stuff or has nitrogen which i imagine i'm less likely to need, especially latter in flower. i'm still working things through and will likely be for some time.
nothing wrong with 3 - 6 ounces. i personally would enjoy maybe 2 ounces per plant but i can do well with an ounce per plant. i don't need much so having too much would just be a waste. i do like to pick up dispensary bud from time to time as well so adds to what i have. i think i still got maybe 20 different strains of stash. many are an eight or less but all together it amounts to enough to have for a while. i try to smoke the stuff i like the most the least in order to have it around longer.
Getting there, I would agree 4-5 weeks left
that grow was hands down some of the sweetest, frostiest flowers of all 4 grows. been trying to match those results since then with less than satifying results. hopefully the present grow (grow 5) will be as frosty as those. haven't taken many pics of it, i just got tired of taking pics so i've been focusing on the buds of grow 4 and not so much on the veg grow 5 plants. i'll likely set them to flower in a couple weeks.
