It's because we can talk really fast now. Look at humans as an animal as the ease of communication got exponentially increased, crazier and crazier. Compare life in the rural, suburban, and urban areas. There's not more crazies because there are more people, it's because they fuel each other. What's horrible is that here in Cali there are millions of people walking along the streets and sidewalks talking to themselves. I don't think too many people have noticed the shift in humanity that happened in the 20th Century. There has always been people afflicted with mental illness, but it wasn't until the 20th Century that humans began to have delusions on a mass scale of the government planting chips in people's heads and broadcasting thoughts to them. They are common delusions. Before then, it was mostly people haunted by demons or messages from God. Those are still out there, but the latter has only been seen for about the past 90 years.
Back in the early 90's I had this friend named Gabe and he worked as some kind of behavioral specialist at a state hospital.
