Got up to Hat Creek, it was about 60 for the high, Saturday morning it was 26 degrees, Sunday was 22, and this AM it was 19, didn’t do any damage, so I gave them the habeus yankus! 6 were so purple they were almost black, and one is totally green. I might get 6-8 oz!! I’m stoked.I haven’t messed with the monster today! That’s a great idea except for one thing! He would get a load of these warm California winters, and I would never get rid of him!View attachment 2549759
Anything I get is a bonus. Volunteer plants that came up in late June-early July. Considering I did nothing to them and only saw them about 4 times all summer I consider it a win. If I’d of paid more attention to them I’d probably screwed them up. Like Ron Popeil used to say “Set it and forget it.”Thank goodness I am indoor, it's first freeze warning here tonight 5280, figured we would get at least one frost warning.![]()
It kills me to see that many Canadians happy at one time!Blue Jays!!!!!!!![]()

Wow, what throw back! I have not heard that quote in a while. That’s when there were only 3 channels on your tv, and we as kids were the remote controls.Anything I get is a bonus. It bet it still works. Maybe you can watch some old shows like Adam 12 or Batman!Yeah, and you had to adjust the rabbit ears just right to get those channels. Yesterday I was cleaning out a storage room in the mountain house and found a black and white Zenith tv, with two sets of knobs, one for vhf and one for uhf!
There were some on another branch. DOH!!!!Looks pretty close to being finished! If not, you can probably get out the tweezers!
Put some foil on the ends, I do love me some television knobsYeah, and you had to adjust the rabbit ears just right to get those channels. Yesterday I was cleaning out a storage room in the mountain house and found a black and white Zenith tv, with two sets of knobs, one for vhf and one for uhf!
