Not sure cheapest possible is what you should be looking for. My recommendation is to use one of the big ones and get a mix pack or use offers.

Greenpoint and Hoku are good choices. Never used Hoku. SeedSupreme is usually my choice.

Greenpoint Seeds have recently changed to a site wide REVERSE AUCTION format - usually 10% off every 30 minutes until purchased, but this past weekend they changed it to 10% off every 10 minutes. I snagged about 20 different strains, didn't pay over $10 for any of them - actually got a few 10 seed packs for under $5 each. Don't know if the every 10 minutes reduction will be every weekend or just from time to time, but was nice to buy Gorilla Glue #4, Dante's Inferno, Dip N Stix, Platinum Lemon Cherry Gelato, Oreoz & Blueberry hybrids without paying a fortune. As for quality of their seeds - there are several reviews with pictures on the web site, many more in their Discord Group.

anyway give him a chat someday , a real good breeder

One of my buddies does auctions from time to time because he has a ridiculous collection. I get some fire ones pretty cheap that way. I got a pack of in house platinum dosi one time for $50 and im pretty sure he originally paid way more then that. Ive been looking around, he first started buying bulk off neptune and a he had some kind of membership with ethos. He used to run raffles on Facebook until they started deleting the raffle groups on everyone. I like the auction setup better though, because the raffles were more like gambling. Where auctions are a for sure thing if you have the last bid.

Ive had great luck so far, the platinum dosi was fire. It tasted like vanilla grape skunk, I ended up doing a chill at the end of the fade and did UV pulsing as well. It came out super frosty. The weird thing is when it was drying it smelt like turkey gravy it was the weirdest thing, but after curing it had the fruity grapey vanilla skunk flavor. But to be fair if it had tasted like turkey gravy I would have been disappointed. I got a pack of second generation genetics from him as well for $30 it was a dj short blueberry f6 x bandaid. I havent ran those yet so i cant describe how it is but it sounds fire.

I could go to a ditch out in E Colorado an get free "cheap" seeds. Get what you pay fer.

Has anybody ever try Pacific Seed
Yes. They are a good source if you live in the west Coast and want them within 3-5 days. Another is sin City seeds a little more expensive but good genetics. If you have a little more dough, I would recommend raw genetics. I do genetic crossing, and have acquired seeds through quite a few sources for my personal projects. Reason I recommend raw genetics, strain selection, quality from the breeding cycles. Never had a problem with their seeds. It's been a few years since I purchased any seeds. I have been getting ready to get a few new strains once I finish back crossing a few more times with a strain I am in the process of developing and back crossing a strain that hasn't been back crossed more than twice. (That I know of) I finished the third cycle of back crossing sherbet cream pie. Then I finished my f1 and now I'm on my bx1 with nerd creamer.

Humboldt Seed Co.- Vietnam De Lat, Seed Connect- Black African Majic Ituri Nuri 6/$55. Could be worth the price, anybody know about these? If your going to grow a few plants for your own head, these sounded like some zingers.

Wanting to stretch the seed budget is totally understandable, but the ultra cheap bins are where I see the worst stories show up later. Low germ rates, surprise phenos, mystery pollen chucks.

From tracking seed bank conversations across communities for VueLeaf, the growers who stay happiest over time pay more attention to three things than sticker price. First is who actually made the genetics (the breeder, not just the shop name on the pack). Second is how fresh the stock is, because bargain bins often double as long term storage. Third is how the vendor behaves when germination is clearly off. Do they offer any kind of germ guarantee or just shrug?

A place like Seed City gets very mixed reviews. People like the selection and the deals, but it's common to see reports that some of those discounts are tied to older inventory. When people pay a bit more for lines from outfits like Sin City or Raw Genetics, the feedback tends to focus on stronger germination and more predictable phenos, even if it hurts the wallet up front.

If you want to experiment without gambling the whole run, one practical approach is to anchor your main grow on a couple of proven breeders and use the bargain seeds as side projects. That way a bad batch doesn't wipe out your entire cycle.

What kind of germination rate have you actually seen so far from the cheap seeds you've been trying?

So what''d ya get? And did ya pop some of them beans yet? A lot of comments about low germ rates from "cheap" seeds - I soaked 8 so far (3 different strains) & all 8 are doing just fine. Here's a picture of a Sundance Kid day 15... I got 200 seeds for $53, so about 25 cents a bean. (before GPS changed their format) Anyway, am curious what you got & how your grow turns out.

it's black friday at herbies right now, go check out their prices. I wouldn't call them cheap tho, more likely fair

Black Friday at Homegrown Cannabis Co as well. Always good genetics and the buy one get one free seems to apply to every seed this year.
