Thanks fam!Hell yeah! Lookin good homie!
Id reamend with compost, craft blend, if you have build a flower I add that in too even in early veg, got a brand new bag waiting for when I chop the cover crop, if you look at the garden ingredients it’s similar to craft blend but mixed with a medium, so a lot of the nutrients are immediatly available as they have already begun breaking down in the bag. I like to hit them with the Pushin P high phosphorous oat blend and the kashi as well, in trait Lu I think you’d do just fine with the compost and craft blend with some medium mixed together and top dress. I’ve done 2 runs in the back 4x4 and the 4x8 was a single run, and has been double amended and triple cover cropped while empty for the past 3 months or so. I’m thinking of doing the 2nd run in the 4x8 bags and a 3rd run in the 4x4 then after that I’m gunna probably do a soil test on a single bag, most likely the 4x4 bag as it’s been ran twice and will be 3 times. I’d say the test should be done right after a run, do the soil test then amend based off the results and see how the run goesYou got that soil dialed in homie! Those plants all look really healthy, from the new to the old to the cover crop. I’m trying to determine if I should do a soil test or just do a reammend after this run. I did a full tent from solo cup to the bed. I have to imagine they depleted a lot of what was in there. Have you ever done a soil test and if so when is the right time to do one? When you see problems or stay ahead of it and test before issues arise? Or don’t worry about it and just re amend with craft blend and compost?
Harvesting these tonight I believe.
Living soil is so great bro, I need to cover crop eventually, gonna save up for a fabric grow bed for the tent to leave in there and plant them all together in it. Kinda burn out from outdoor harvest but in the next 6 months for sure.Morning folks! Girl is lookin happy today those leaves.. just huge
Lowers are right up under em now, they’ll peek around in another day or so, topsail are coming out nice after the roping as well, im thinking once these lowers match up with the top I’ll top everything then net her and flip her after a bit
Might bring in the table not sure
It’s a 3x3 bed. I have a local compost similar to buildaflower but not quite the same.Id reamend with compost, craft blend, if you have build a flower I add that in too even in early veg, got a brand new bag waiting for when I chop the cover crop, if you look at the garden ingredients it’s similar to craft blend but mixed with a medium, so a lot of the nutrients are immediatly available as they have already begun breaking down in the bag. is it a 3x3 bed or 4x4 bed?
In either one I’d be looking at probably 6 cups craft blend, 6 cups compost to start personally, I use 4 cups per 30 gallon bag on each re amend the 60 gallon I’ll be using 8 cups I think.
The earlier you start it and let it cook the better even if you don’t plant right away, gives the worms time to eat and create castings, microbes to populate etc. if you can run cycles of cover crop chop and drop before planting you’ll see additional benefit imoLiving soil is so great bro, I need to cover crop eventually, gonna save up for a fabric grow bed for the tent to leave in there and plant them all together in it. If it works it works! Biggest thing to remember is living soil isint like any other type of growing, we don’t target spesific NPK’s. In general we want all nutrients available at maximum capacity at all times, let eh microbes balance the uptake from the plant root excretionsIt’s a 3x3 bed. Yep, just making a buffet for the plants to choose from.If it works it works! Biggest thing to remember is living soil isint like any other type of growing, we don’t target spesific NPK’s.
