I watch leaves and if they're turning light green they get nutes during veg if the regular amount isn't taking care of it.. If tips are changing color (burnt) I back off the nutes.

I use Megacrop for veg and generic bloom nutes during bloom. With bloom you still have to watch color of leaves for nitrogen and give bloom nutes on a regular basis. Watching the plants reaction is more important to me than the latest meter, getting the maximum what ever.

There is a definite business interest at work with weed. Autopots, Megacrop, Promix, Cannacoco and a good light are on my list of weed related things I'd buy again for indoor. And Lucky13 seeds of course ;-). There are supporting additions like a light timer, fan, carbon filter, magic butter machine ...
Thanks! Yes, there are too many do-hickeys to try and collect them all. LOL

Transplanted and ready to rock. These are going on day 26 from seed. They slowed down a bit from topping. Super thick stems for such small plants! I forgot how much work transplanting four little plants can be. I must be getting older as my back hurts. Lol. Long day. Another two weeks until the tent is open for these. The flower in the tent looks and smells really good too. Platinum colored buds with purple hues and a very sour smell. I love a good sour strain.

Tents about done. Chopping in the next couple of days. Super sour smell with nice purple hues. Not bad for some bag seed! I have a few stress induced seeds from this batch too. Hopefully this next generation will be a bit more stable. Definitely gonna run them again as it looks and smells great!

Plants in tent are coming down tomorrow. They could go another week or two but I want to get them in the tent under that powerful light already. I went ahead and defoliated the smaller plants and did a little lst. Another 4-6 weeks of veg to go seems reasonable before the flip. They look a little hungry as I just transplanted them and they're still getting comfortable in their new home.

Chopped plants and cleaned out the tent. Put the papaya punch x okie plants in their final home. Now its time to train for a few weeks before I flip to flower. I'm considering buying an autopot system and giving coco and synthetics a go next run. I like the hands off approach and I think it would work best for me as im not home for 2-4 days at a time. Being away for a couple days a week makes it a little difficult to water properly, and the autopot system would be ideal imo. I wish it wasn't such an expensive system though. Well see.

Cheers!

Your plants look great as usual.

You buy the autopots once and then use them for years. They make watering "right" so easy. You will regret spending the money once, then be glad you did for years.

Thanks! Im thinking I might pull the trigger and make the switch for my next run. I've been wanting to switch over to coco and try something new. I heard you can even run organics with them if you tweak a few things.

I'm seeing a few gnats in the tent so a top dress of diatomaceous earth and bottom watering for a week or two is going tor$b" be necessary . I wonder if the plants are big enough to start bottom watering or should I wait another week or two?

I've got the autopot system with the reservoir and the first week enough water gets wicked up to support the plant. There are water lines running between pots and valve systems to control water level. They get good root development with this system.

With the trays shown in the picture I'd expect the first week you will need a week of top water and keeping a close eye on whether the plants get enough water but also if the tray stays full. How fast the tray empties depends on humidity levels in the tent. If humidity levels are low the trays empty more.

Thats a clean looking setup! Do you run coco or soil in your autopots? What kind of nutes? How long are the plants good for if you fill the reservoir up completely? Do you get big ph fluctuations if you're away from the garden for a few days at a time?

Those are 2021 pics. I was running pure coco but it's about $80 a bag now so I'm trying half promix/ half coco this run. I have run pure promix in the pots with success. I use Megacrop for nutes in veg and pick up different things in flower. I don't fill up the res for more than a few days since I expect fresh water is better. You could run a full rez easily for a week with a 4x4 tent full of good sized plants. I never test ph and get away with it where I live.

I watch by choice usually to make sure the lines which are small on the older autopots don't get clogged. It also gives an idea whether plants like how much nutes they are getting so I can adjust. Nutes that clog the lines get added as a top dressing instead of getting added to the rez.

If you look at the picture with the pots note that there are 2 sizes. The left pots are bigger than the right. I'm using 2 of the bigger pots for a grow soon. I got some freebies from Real Seed Company. The Nepal freebie seeds germinated 1 out of 12. I put some Sinai strain in to pop thinking they were older and it looks 4 out of 6 are starting a day later. Should be a fun winter :-).

Sounds like you've got a good game plan for the winter. $80 for a bag of coco is insane. Where the hell do you live to have thise prices? Wild!

Day 37 from seed and my plants are doing good. Going to do a little lst adjustments tonight and maybe top them one more time. Maybe ill just do lst as topping them slows them down a bit. Well see. I didn't have a humidifier in the tent this whole time so the vpd was a bit off. I put my humidifier in the tent and now its at 70%. Plant growth exploded with higher humidity. 30% rh during veg is way too low. It will work, but it usually slows the growth down quite a bit. Ill only need a humidifier for another couple weeks anyway. Once the plants get a little bigger the rh stays just right without a humidifier. I don't like using a humidifier because it leaves calcium deposits everywhere. Especially on the carbon filter which causes it to clog up. Id have to use distilled water andthatsjust not sustainable. Im going to be germinating four more seeds for the next run. I think I'm going to go with the apples and bananas x okie cross from @Variety719 next.

Cheers

Amazon in Canada - $80a bag. The last grow shop closed so online it is.

Huidiity helps plants grow for sure :-).
I've heard nothing but bad things about Canada lately. My step dad lived in Canada but that was decades ago. It seems like the government is micro managing peoples lives too much. Im seeing alot of people are extremely upset with the government and state of the economy in Canada. We have the same problems in the US though to be honest. People are upset with everything as whole over there. Im wondering if maybe the news is just blowing these issues out of proportion. I know there's alot of crazy Marxist/communist extremists out there right now. I think its a plague that is spreading everywhere in the world. Especially amongst the younger generation. I kind of understand people want change but I dont think thats the right step to be taking. What do you think?

Plants are doing good too btw. Just defoliated and did some more lst. Think I'm going to hold off on topping and just continue tying them down. Its been working just fine for me.

The economy is better than ever if you're rich, sucks if you're poor. Life hasn't changed that way.

https://www.marxist.ca/article/revolutionary-communists-rally-across-the-country is an example of the protests you are talking about. They got hundreds of people organized in more than 8 cities to protest. In Toronto which has a population of over 10 million they got 400 people out, some of them payed to participate according to the article.

I have to agree we are micro managed in Canada which costs money. That's part of why we pay high taxes here. There are things I wouldn't mind changing but won't be joining anyone to protest.

The distribution of wealth is fucked here in the states too. No more middle class. You're either rich and don't give a shit, poor because you used to be middle class, or poor and barely getting by. Some people feel like they're better off being poor so they can actually take advantage of the system. I dont blame them. Im in chicago and you havelock make 100k plus to live comfortably. Way more if you have kids and want to buy a home. Its really bad. My parents immigrated here when they were in their early 20s and were able to buy a home and build an incredible amount of wealth in a very short time. Businesses were booming. Wish i was born a little earlier. Im hoping it gets better for us though. As for the communist ideologies its really bad here in the states. The younger generation wants to give their utopian visions a shot. 400 is not alot of people considering the population you stated. Its an absolute shit show with the whole political situation in the us. Its crazy. Im an independent because I don't trust any politicians anymore. They're all frauds.

Scoop the communism protestors off the street and offer them the choice of free transportation to China, Russia, or Cuba.

What's happening in the U.S. is a strange version of Great. From reading the news that reaches me it sounds more like Grate.

Plants are vegging beautifully. Ill continue to lst and tie the branches down until they fill my canopy. At least another 4 weeks until flower. Trimming my indoor as well and its super yummy. Purple hues and sour smells. Turned out decent.

I respectfully disagree. Personally I have never felt better about my country and I think our president is going to be remembered as one of the best in modern history or, at least, 75 years whichever came first 😬. I had 24/7/365 low level anxiety for a couple of years prior to 2024. Now I feel very, very, good.
MAGA!
