Tell him to give up Frontier and get a good CB, or short wave, that will work after armagedon. (Heck without armagedon Frontier only works about 50% of the time). We've had the same problem, they crossed our wires with the rental house wires, so we were getting her calls, she was getting ours. Took them a month to fix it!!! Last summer we had a thunderstorm take out a tree which took down the power pole and phone lines, the power pole was replaced and power restored the next morning, took three weeks for the phone repair.

Yeah, our landline was up to about 85 a month! +25 For the dial up Internet!Got rid of it 10 years ago! 80 for a landline and at the time 130 or 140 for two cell phones seemed a little preposterous! Had a PC that was on dial up back then! 86ed it and the landline and haven’t missed either one since! Can do everything on an iPhone that I could do on the crap PC!

Yeah, I’ve heard a lot of those stories about frontier while making deliveries up in the hills! I think dish owns them! I used to have a president, Washington base CB! That was a lot of fun! It was stolen from somebody when I got it and it got stolen from me! Funny how that works out! Lol!

Haha, he's a HAM radio operator. He has way too many radios, and antennas and does not need the landline. That has been my argument, to no avail. But you know, he puts up with my obsession with growing weed, so I think I can let this slide. LOL

Chucky, looks like you've got some more rain headed your way wed-thurs. How are they looking? I'm headed up to Eureka area on Wednesday, check out my old stomping grounds and see a few friends from college. Gonna do my best to try and locate some of that old Humboldt Skunk, not holding out a lot of hope, but maybe I can find some seeds or clones.

They are looking pretty ready! Going to chop a bunch today and tomorrow if I can get my truck in there without getting stuck! Lol! It’s always fun over on the coast! I haven’t been to Fern Canyon, or taken a long walk amongst the redwoods in a long time! There is definitely some magic over there! Never know what you might stumble over in the way of genetics!😍

I still have some old Realistic ones...You remember those really high dollar ones if you want to relive those good ole fun days. I'll trade ya for seeds 😂 Kinda funny when you think about how few today actually know what Radio Shack was.

Yeah, it used to be handy to go down and get electronic parts! The Tandy corporation! L O L!

Radio Shack was the best! You could really do anything electronically through them before DIY was a click away on YouTube you actually had to learn on your own with the help of the Tandy Corp.

There was one nearby and I'd be over there almost daily buying IC's and associated discreet components for breadboard projects way back when I was in electronics school, great memories!
During my 30 year career at the avionics factory I watched parts shrink down to the point where you need a microscope to see resistors, capacitors and even some ICs!

Haha, hubby's friend got him to design electronics for his HO railroad, but when it came to building it with surface mount parts he passed on that part of it. Said those parts are too small.
He asked me to do it, I can see those tiny things, but I'm too shaky to solder them.

Love fern canyon and Patrick’s point state (it has a new name now). Back in the day we’d do some shrooms and wander through the park.
So when I started my current grow I emptied out several bags and put new soil in. I just dumped the soil in a wheelbarrow. Today I took it over to the compost bin, and here’s what I saw:

I couldn’t figure out how they got there, then i remembered a couple months ago I made bubble hash out of some seeded plants and dumped the green waste in the bin! I guess I’m just Johnny freaking Appleweed ! They’re coming out tomorrow, won’t get much maybe and oz or two, but they’re pretty:
