Sodium chloride + rice mix...
  • mix the salt and water until there’s a little bit of salt at the bottom
  • Dip your absorbent material in the solution
  • Put the damp cloth/paper into a small breathable pouch (coffee filter folded and taped)
  • Drop it in your cure jar — not touching buds

I trim them off the stalks at like 12 days, right up to the butt of the blossom. Then into the jar but that's all manual, no grove bags or humidity packs. Not because I hate them or anything I just haven't bothered. Carly smells good but it's only at a week in the jar I expect the real flavor at two. I'm getting cheap prerolls and shit so I don't really dig in before it's got it's funk.
I should look into making humidity control packs, it can't be hard and that'd be more interesting.
Yes, sir thats my plan. I have some humidity packs....I'm gonna let mine hang in my lung room....once I turn heat off it will get down to 70....let er hang 10 days and jar...with humidity pack....you gotta taste Carly😝

Nice research sir....

Because I make edibles, anything with trichomes/crystals stays when I wet trim.
Same here. I saw a video of a commune grow and they did a hippy trim. I thought that was an excellent idea. And I know the bud we got "back when" was not this perfectly manicured little nugget.

Nice research sir....
I napkin sketched one I thought would work, asked AI and it had a better salt for it but more or less same.

If my red is any indicator, the sugar leaves are way more loaded and needle like than any of my modern strains. Back in the day it was BC "beasters" which I think was all NLxSour Diesel for funkiness. But it's got more content that counts than THC because the 15% feels like into the mid 20s. I trimmed carly like modern bud then left some long ones so it looks like that #1 picture in the article Oaxanahibbitybibbity red or whatever.

Well the snow goes with hockey.....been playing since I was 5yrs old. It now also means an hour every morning clearing snow for all 3 school bus pick ups and the neighbourhood mailboxes 🤦🏻
