I'm afraid the Trainwreck is dying. It use to be several pages every day now it's a couple pages a week😟

Apple fritter Auto start of week 5.

Hey there @JIMKSI64 where did the Apple Fritter Auto seeds come from??
I like that structure....hhhmmmmm outdoor next season 🤔
ILGM. I got 20 for $129. Was on the forum and some folks was talking about the strain really delivering it but some folks had problems with germination. I was 20 for 20 on popping and everything made it into a pot.
What happens after that is on me.
This batch is listed as 24% and I remember the batch I bought listed 30+ THC a

Hey train wreckers I seek data from various growers here.
I would like to get a measurement ( which means no guessing please ) of the average gram per flower foot or 6 inch.
Like measuring dried weight from these.

Any help would be appreciated. Please list strain length and weight.
I have data on White Widow and Apple Fritter Auto so far...

Since i read the trainwreck nearly every day , and enjoy reading it, but never comment, thought i'd ask a question. What strain is the least sensitive to temp & humidity fluctuations ? I grow in a 3x3 tent in an unheated garden shed, so i struggle with cold in winter, heat in summer {midwest} . I recently grew some RQS northern lights & it was by far the most tolerant of any strain i've tried, on the other hand i currently have some greenpoint O-dub finishing & i'm always troubleshooting some problem, very fussy.

It’s evolving : ) everything goes through growing pains, ups and downs gutters and strikes😆

this thread will be here long after we are gone hhahahah! ✌️

Yeah, yesterday was about the slowest Saturday that I remember...🤔😣

I noticed the drop-off too and really just chocked it up to the time of year. Everybody been busy trimming and jarring and stuff, others finished their grow and lost interest in yucking it up about weed and moved on to bark at and chase the next moving car passing by their house. 🤣

I would expect a bump around Thanksgiving and Christmas with people getting time off and dreaming about weed again and then a pickup in the spring to stay focused on the topic of weed and plan their summer grow. Not everybody runs plants all the time too so you probably get ebb and flow of people doing runs. Just drawing presumptive conclusions on what I would expect traffic on this site to look like.

This makes me smile. I hope there are many more and y'all join in. That's what makes this page gud😉

Get insulated foam board for your shed, the kind that has mylar on one side. Put seed mats under your pots and wrap them with weather resistant electric blankets. Strains that do well outdoors, that are good at tolerating RH and temperature swings and can handle a few bugs gnawing on em without getting too stressed are probably going to be your best bet. Check with other locals about any outdoor runs they did outside of seasonal margins that did well and what they grew.

We typically only get down to the low 40's at night here through winter but I'm looking at weatherproofing my shed similarly... they grow agonizingly slow with cold roots, but they do grow.

Edit: Any of you old timers know if an HPS lamp will keep a shed warm enough in the winter? Or an IR heat lamp? I'm usually more worried about keeping temps down except for about 2 months out of the year I worry about the cold.

This! I was so mentally consumed with the outdoor along with the indoor scene. I’ve been hanging with the fam and catching up on chores. WINTER IS COMING! 🤣 ✌️

If youre ever looking for some general grab-assery and it's slow here, try popping in over at the Rantboard. We are an older debaucherous crowd over there, average age bracket around 50-70 and a relatively small community. But we love fresh meat! 🤣

Ha! Another case of perfect timing. Last night I did a super aggressive application of Captain Jack... Actually worked with two spray bottles, one in each hand firing away like six-shooters. 🤣

So this morning I wake up, That bitch Ana showed up and she ain't no saint.. rH scraping the bottom of the barrel, and the onset of a "Weather related pest event."

Bottoms of fans blanketed with aphids and crowds of thrips gathering on the lower sugars, you talk about a fucking Trainwreck... oof. Misted what I could to knock off the volume, reapplied the cap Jack and now I just gotta trust it's gonna do it's thing and not get intimidated. But I'm damn glad I treated ahead of time last night!
