I buy bags of soil and by the time the grow is over so is the soil. It is depleted of buffers and organic components that grow pot. The soil would need to be amended with the missing components to be able to grow a plant.

I get that fresh pile of burnt rubber smell from certain strains. It’s a little different than the smoke caused by doing a burn out, closer to a new tire smell with a little bit of burnt rubber on the backside.
I also get a little baby formula puke smell from certain strains too. The PBB X CMAN has that.
Last but not least is that alkaline smell/taste from licking a girl’s armpit. It’s faint but it lingers.
Those are my top three weird terps.

Only strain that strongly smelled like the name for me was Blood Orange. I get that most are in the ball park but that strain was on the money orangey. Sadly I didn’t grow it and got it from a dispensary.

That was a chuckle at the user's own expense and some of us laughed right along because we can relate.

I ran living soil right up until I killed it. I can personally attest to that statement. Basically the second I cut back my cover crop and allowed a dry period in between watering, the living part was seriously diminished. I also never introduced any earthworms or beneficial insects in any of my pots. The main reason I stopped running living soil was because of pot size. I ran 4 seven gallon pots in a 3x3 tent and one 15 gallon pot in a 2x2 tent. Space was always the issue. The pots were grassroots fabric pots, which have a sewn in plastic liner that runs 3/4’s the height of the pot. That helps with moisture retention.

I’m real big on the Z terps or anything fruity pebble and gassy, which leads me to, where in the hell do I find good genetic seeds, and which ones to buy bc I seem there like so many to pick from

Do you have access to dispensaries? Some growers hate them, but I see them as an alternative choice and way to try new strains. Depending on where you live seeds can really easily obtained. I have had the most success ordering through NASC.com which always has promos and freebies.

Thats funny, I was picking up notes of fruity pebbles off a couple plants last night but they shift around, on a warm day its sometimes a slight cat piss and other times a little bit of that new carpet smell or jet fuel or whatever that sweet chemical aroma is. I never know where it's gonna land after the cure, even among same strain because they can express so individually. This is why some folks will find an individual plant and keep cloning it as long as they can because it checks all the right boxes for them.

Well I was off by a week but here we are at the ER.

Wife had appendicitis. Apparently it burst 7-10 days ago. She's having a stent put in to drain the shit.

And my new phone (2 1/2months old) died so I'm on my wife's phone.

Crazy day. I don't even have any memes.
