Y'all can have that snow. I left it a long time ago and I'd rather not deal with it.So, I just got a pool type PH tester, you know, the tiny test tubes and the 3 drops of solution.
The unsoftened well water with a pinch of Jack's fertz. registers 7.5. So I'm gonna use that instead of the RO water.
Wait, maybe I'll give 2 the RO water and 2 the well water. hmmmm
They're still growing and no BBQ today!

RO is great if you live on municipal water or need your water completely devoid of anything. But then you have to put back in calcium, magnesium and so on. So if you get your well water tested you can still have a base line and who knows you may not have to add in Cal Mag or Iron or whatever, depending on the soil you use.
If your county Health dept does well water checks have them run it for you. Cheaper. If not you can send it to a lab. Also you can use USGS Soil Survey and get some idea of what your soil is containing, it's ph, it's ECEC (cation exchange) and therefore how it may be hitting your well. I live on the Nacatoch Sand (part of the old Cretaceous inland sea) belt so my soil is very sandy, low ph (5.5), ECEC is shyte, so I really don't treat my well water.
Then again, you can always melt snow
Plants look really good.
