What particular problem did you run into with Miracle Grow?
I get burn every time, retains a ton of water. I went to FoxFarm Ocean, had an alright couple crops, still didn't like the results. I will say I don't do indoor soil anymore. I am back to strictly hydro. That's how I solved my over watering problem in the 90's. Grow in water.

Many many soil grower's here that can definitely call me out on anything. I'm not Cheech, Willy, nor Ed. Still reading and learning as much as I can.

Even if you get 3-1-1 for veg, miracle grow has all kinds of funky time release shit and stuff they don't label "exactly" like how we can ship around "THC-A" no problem.
I don't even use it fer my planters

What I didn't particularly like about it was the opposite of what you ran into. Thought it seemed too loamy and didn't hold water great. Felt like I never had to worry about overwatering though 🤣

Beyond that, I had repotted to Recipe 420 before the flip so I never encountered issues with lingering time release N... but what I've learned since I used it early into growing is because of the time release, you don't want to go into flower with that composition. Me switching out was just dumb rookie luck all because I wanted better moisture retention is all. It probably saved that run.

I essentially don't want time release at all, if I fuck up, I need room to fix it. At least be able to do what light flush soil tolerates.
