I barely use mine, it's a german interwar student model. Not Zeiss and I forgot the brand but it's quality. I used to get all kinds of neat shit from work in household cleanout stops. I was never short for a hinge or window part if someone needed it or something but there were some real WOW ones. I think the hardest was a WWII nazi cocaine kit. It had everything to use IV cocaine with swastikas all over it, so I called museums and it was over the "value allowed" to keep ($150) but not rare enough to get the local museum to care. Then you're not allowed to give it away over value either.
It wouldn't have mattered but it was such a head scratcher we had to call town hall people in... we didn't know if it was evidence of war crimes or biohazard or a felony or what. Eventually it did turn out to be Bergen Belsen equipment so the feds picked it up.

I always struggle with the trichomes... this will be a life saver.

My dear son, who does not partake of weed, sent me one and I love it, but I'm way too shaky to use it outdoors. And I can't bring myself to pick off (waste) perfectly good bud to bring it inside, just to look at it. LOL

Roll a table or something out there. I used to shake when I was actively alcoholic, although there are a million causes.

I also have this problem. Some days worse that other.

I use a short staff and hold the camera on top of the staff and lean it into the tent. The staff gives you a good support as it is touching the ground.

Amber on a leaf is a suggestion to start looking at calyxes fully retracting and then the amber on the calyxes.

This has both the edge of a sugar and a nice plump calyxes. As you want the majority of the plant to be in the zone and sugars by weight are minimal compared to the weight of all those oil filled berries of love.

The trichs form on the bract not the calyx. The calyx is internal to the bract.

LOVE my dehydrator since I ditched the counter top model and got a small commercial one. I can even unplug the element and use ambient while the low temp is 80f. Either way it can be used to help dry; depending on the bud but I start it in there for a few hours then hang and it puts the moisture on the outbound train without fucking it up. I won't say it saves any real time because you can't but it can help. Another use case is if your cure jar gets above rH- you can fix it in 30 minutes on no heat.
