So due to height constraints in my starter tent, ive had to move one of my flowering autos in with my 12/12 flowering photos. I've read about lower yield and foxtailed buds ect. Being that this really my first auto and was supposed to be a photo. ( just like the autos that turned out to be photos) is it really gonna harm my auto too bad? My photos will be done in roughly 2-3 weeks and I plan on moving everything into the larger tent then and use the smaller tent as a drying set up. But if I leave the auto in the smaller tent it's getting burnt and showing mag defencenties. I've added some cal mag and I'm just going for it. Am I dumb for trying this. And what happens if in 3 weeks if I go back to a 18/6 or 20/4 schedule? Will i have to worry about herms?

You will need to decide what plant you want to light properly unless you have the ability to split your lights. If you have the ability to raise plants this can be done easily.
Autos do fine outside next to a photo.
There will be an adjustment period but whatever the DLI number was for the autos if you have been pushing them it might not be that far apart.
Check often for quick damage and then at the end of the light cycle for cumulative damage
It's not the schedule it's the energy absorbed during the schedule.

Unfortunately I can not split light, at least not yet due to running 2x2 and 3x3 tents currently. Once I have room I have 3 other tents a 2x4, a 5x5 and another 3x3 but no where to put them at the moment. The auto had grown past the light in the short 2x2 that was running about 70% unknown ppfd in that tent currently. But now I'm gonna run it 12/12 with the photos at 100% on that light. I'm hoping the higher power lighting will make up the difference. Am I wrong to think that way? I've been mulling it over for a few days and think this might be my best current solution.

And my priority is the C99 photos that are super frosty since I'm a sativa guy and the auto is supposed to be glookies a higher indica hybrid.

That's the way it works. lower light for 18 = higher light at 12 as long as the math is close. That is why they have DLI calculators but you do need a proper energy measurement to compare.
Just watch for taco/ wilt at end of day/ tip turn down.
Hard to bleach a pistle cause you would have to ignore 2 other things before you damage flowers.
But we all seen it 😎
