Same with controlling the climate in your tent. Just look at the prices of weed, in general, I know theres exceptions but in order of quality is usually like this:

Greenhouse

I don't have much experience growing outdoor or greenhouse and I use lights, 12/12 etc so I don't grow weed completely naturally. I was referring to the way the plant receives nutrients. Living soil is a symbiotic microbiome that works to allow the plant to be her best self. I have no issue with indoor growing, I'm just saying hydro will never be as good as living soil. If you disagree that's fine, that's just my take on it

I have not smoked much hydro precisely because the price is too high so I cant tell you that living soil is better than hydro but I do sure love my living soil and my weed is the tastiest in town (which is not difficult, its a town of 30k people hahaha)

Years ago I grew Jack the Ripper from seed and the terps were absolutely unreal as if the weed came from another dimension or something. Absolutely indescribable smell

Humans have ruined weed like they do everything else. Weed was a lot better in the 90s to 2012 after that it doesn't get you high like shit did then. I've seen weed grown on edge of cornfields since I can remember I'm almost 60 now started smokin in the 80s ,so no one goin to tell me weeds better now with all the chems and cross breeding . I'd love to find seed that ain't bred til they dead no high worth shit . But that's just my option and I'm no expert by for and thank you all have a good grow

God damn I searched for seeds of that strain and theyre hella expensive. How is the taste? Could you describe it? And the smell? I know Im not gonna grow it anytime soon hahaha but Im curious.

My all time favorite seed company TGA(which has unfortunately gone under) worked with polyhybrid genetics nowhere near landrace however they were great at breeding strains with crazy good terps. Yes the high is good but the smell and flavor is my favorite part of weed and the reason I grow

Dude, we've been genetically modifying the cannabis plant ever since we domesticated it 12,000+ years ago, through selective breeding. We are still doing that and using science to even further improve it. Plants don't care where nutrients come from as long as they get all that they need. Hydro is simple with a good teacher to teach you a proven method. Science matters

The smell was sort of like household cleaning products only it was so much more than that. I'm sorry to say I can't really describe it but it was so unreal and amazing. Real Jack the Ripper seeds don't exist anymore only knockoffs

I don't disagree that selective breeding improves upon cannabis and I know that I don't grow landraces under the sun totally naturally but a soilless medium lacks all the symbiotic organisms that assist the plant in nutrient uptake and overall quality.

It is my belief that cannabis is an entheogen and should be treated accordingly. She's a spiritual plant that, when grown and used properly, can make visible the beauty of life and existence and bring spiritual truths into the mind of the user. A plant like that shouldn't be grown in rockwool with synthetic nutrients.

THen you never grown hydro currently in my dwc there is over 100 types of bacteria mycos and who knows what.there is 2 types of hydro sterile and with benies.you can even do an organic hydro if you want.

I have a grow method that works for me and produces good shit. I won't make any judgment on what you grow cause I haven't smoked it. I just have a method that's effective for me and if it ain't broke don't fix it.

While I agree with the 1st part of that. The 2nd part is laughable at best. Wtf is wrong with rockwool? It's just heated and spun rock, totally inert but with the ability to supply plants with way more water, nutrients & oxygen than any soil could ever think of. And synthetic nutrients feed the entire planet now.

While I respect your belief, I think it's based more in feelings than in fact and it's rather ill informed. Hydro is what's going to feed future space missions, General Hydroponics Flora Series was developed for NASA. I used it for years before switching to Greenleaf dry nutrients. Dialed in hydro produces terps every bit as good or better than soil grown cannabis and it does it much more faster and efficiently. Terp production is more genetically, environmentally and stress dependant than method or nutritional source... Nitrogen is nitrogen. Science matters. "Organic" is a hoax that sells products. just my .02

Proper living soil produces a lot of terps i would agree. You cant just water only any soil, but with living soil 100%
