Happy Growing. Hope everyone is well. I usually grow 2 to 4 plants in my tent but this time I'm doing 6. My question to the community is do you rotate/position your plants in different spots of the tent every so often? I leave mine in the same spots in the the tent but thinking I should move them every so often.

I have 7 in a 4x4. Even small autos can fill up a tent.
Due to a light panel that has a big bright spot and trends down at the edges not only do I rotate plants but with multiple plants at different heights I have to boost plants to get a level virtual canopy where tops at different heights are very close to the same light energy readings.
Constant battle.

I have 5 plants in a 4x8. Short answer is: It all depends on the totality of your set up: Your veg time? Auto's? Regulars? "Craft" plants? Big plants? Sog? Scrog? Lst? Hst? goals? etc.

This is one of the cons of rockwool slabs. Once a plant is established on the slab, it's there until it gets chopped down. If I'm able to pull off my current experiment with 1 gallon pots & coco, I may consider using this method again in the future.

Pots could then be moved, but why? As they just get too big & intertwined to move anyway, and, fill up the entire tent regardless. My method is best suited for growing with clones and pheno's with similar growth patterns though. As for smaller plants in pots, sure, rotate them in and out of the best light 👊👊

I put turntables under the saucers and turn them slightly every day to make the plants symmetrical. My tents are all different, so I sometimes move plants for the best fit and light, etc.

I also have seen people use golf balls in the saucers under the grow bags. I assume it's to raise them off the bottom and make them easy to rotate

NO the crog net keeps them in a single place.bit yea lamp is strongest in the moddle soo no even growth

Or you could run a powered turntable. LOL
And no, I haven't seen any real difference compared to the other plants in the tent.
It's the one on the right hand side in the back.

I actually posted an idea for a large pot maintenance system integrating a powered turn table, a scale, and a huge drain pan. Just an idea for me to be able to service the pot and maintain the plant without leaning over the plant.
Basically set the whole thing in the middle of the 4x4 be able to turn the plant for training and weigh the plant for proper hydration.

I saw that. I do have a scale, maybe I'll put it in the middle and weigh the pots like you do. (now that they're properly hydrated. 🫤 )

I use the scale to see if I am correct about the weight and if it is ready although I am having data problems with growth. A couple went saggy a bit and my tare weight was off. Still said there was .8lbs of water in pot.

Love math and am sometimes humbled by addition and subtractions apparently .........
