You don't "lose" a week. your weight/day over all catches up. Topping creates more primary budding sites, providing a more balanced place for the resources of your larf buds, once they are trimmed, which is a portion of the SOG idea. Many plants, less on the bottoms, dense full flat canopy.
Your plants are stripped of their engine for making bud. Way way too much is being taken off.
Possibly a good target weight is the 1oz per plant point. Once you're there or close you start training more and working at 2-3oz, or even more (indoor). My first couple around my restart point struggled with iirc like .7 and .9oz with bad density. That was after a 6 gram wonder with decently dense bud.
So you've got a lot to dial in. The pictured ones are 2 grams or so.

2 months? And how many watts?
65
It’s one of those that claims its outputs 600 watts but it is 65 watts .. like I said budget. Need equipment upgrade but need money first. My quality has still come out top tier so I’ll do what I have to to get these upgrades as I move forward. I do work but I’m also awaiting disability so I can only mak 1620 a month until I get that 20,000-50,000 check and I buy a house and go legal with the cannabis and won’t need disability anymore. Just trying to hang in there.

Yes I do understand all of that. But there is a way to train the plants to get higher yields and shorter growth times without topping. That’s all I was trying to express.

It came with the 2x2 kit I bought for 375.

You're in a zone where you're trading small percentages for big risks in nute swings, and opening up immune deficiencies. Yeah you can push out a little... for 20 quarter ounce plants that takes up a big tent footprint.
Naturally a question is putting your finished pictures next to some random dutch greenhouse example, why do they have an opened umbrella and you've got a nug on small trunks? Surely for a small plant 1.25 square feet of canopy is what you'd want?

Judge my next grow. These plants are either being rehomed or harvested for what they are. They also have experiments with misunderstood knowledge and some still with mistakes earlier that I didn’t know I did at all. I’m homeless after having what I did have. So I’ll have a 2 bedroom apartment in January and all the experience and knowledge I’ve gained will be implemented in my eternal cup run with the sticky broccoli photos!

Think of your grow as a car dashboard, can you pick something like say potasium and at any given time say "my water is so much ppm of this, soil absorbtion is this, and this is how much runs off, therefore I have something like X amount of the nutrient most likely uptaken or soil banked"? At any given time just in conversation? and if you dim the light 200 ppfd at that point, how those number WILL change not just a guess?
Work on getting there, just that basic nuts and bolts info at all times.

If you can't read your "dashboard" your engine might burn out.

I know how to . However I do not have the equipment yet to read that. So the experience isn’t there either. But it will come as i get that equipment an start doing those measurements.

Also not sure if I mentioned that am in school for cannabis cultivation and horticulture.

January.....$50k.....apartment......buy a house....family business...ya I know attitude....
C'mon guys.....the Ol' string along for 5 pages!!!!! 🤦🏼‍♂️
I mean if you were keeping up you’d know most of the story .

There are 5 steps to disability . I am on the 3rd and awaiting a court case to see a judge with my lawyer. So that’s 2 years of back pay, if it gets to federal court back pay will reach $40,000-$50,000 but will take a few more years.

In order to get that approval I must keep my income at 1620 a month for the duration of that time.

Yes I already got approved for an apartment at the oceanfront for 1485 a month, just have to make the first month rent, deposit, and $900 electric bill from 4 years ago.

The disability money will be down payment for a house and homegrow cultivation license in Virginia. When my oldest turns 18 in 4 years I will teach him to grow cannabis and will see how the laws are and what he can and can’t do as far as the business goes when that time is here because the laws will be different.

Define your perception of attitude since we are reading on our own accord.

This my thread . Came here to network, meet growers, receive and give knowledge, and just enjoy talking about my passion and the rest of my life.

Half the site has broken backs and fucked shoulders. We know.
You don't need equipment to calculate any of that, make your own from scrap junk.

I didn’t know that was even possible . How do you measure that without the proper measuring tools ?

And I have heart disease . Had a heart attack from hard drugs and bad diet. I’m getting a defibrillator installed January.

How did you take those amazing photos? Best close up I've seen here!

The following is only my opinion/observation :

Humility is a human characteristic that must be developed and is not a natural tendency. The earlier one learns humility the better
Since August I have 3 grand kids living in my house along with my daughter and SIL. They're moving into a home locally after relocating from CO. It's been great other than the 6 yo is a special challenge. She's beyond smart BUT has behavior issues such as selfishness and caring mainly about herself. I told my daughter that she needs to be taught humility and she agrees. I say to teach humility you need to humiliate the subject. My daughter, and wife, don't agree with me.
What's the best way to teach humility?
The best way to teach humility is by example while remaining humble.

Humility is the quality of recognizing your own limits, imperfections, and need for continual learning — without putting yourself down.

A clear definition:

Humility

Humility is the ability to see yourself accurately — not exaggerating your strengths, not denying them, and staying open to correction, growth, and the value of others.

It includes:

Self-awareness (knowing you don’t know everything)
Openness (willing to listen, learn, and adjust)
Modesty (not needing to boast or dominate)
Respect (valuing others’ perspectives and contributions)
Gratitude (recognizing what you’ve gained from others)

And it doesn’t mean:

thinking poorly of yourself
being passive or timid
denying your strengths
letting people walk over you

True humility is strength under control, paired with curiosity and a grounded sense of self.

It has nothing to do with being week or humiliated

Oh fair . I’m full of humility.

Had a complete misunderstanding of the term.

If your not willing to learn from others why the forum join? Just to record your progress or lonly wanting to get friends? Or to brag?....
Because I’m passionate about every aspect of cannabis. To grow, learn, network, teach, experience, see other experiences, etc.
