How is my first time growing?

I think Jim is gonna say and I pre-agree with him, that creating the conditions overall unfavorable to the gnats is better than any product. Ohhhhhmmmmm!

Almost imposible to have them. You have to water your plant eventually

Yeah when it's rounded out like that it's not taco'ing, it's a happy plant. Slightly canoe, not V shaped.

I have a question, is your exhaust and intake both up high? You should have the exhaust up on top and intake is best if you have it towards the bottom of the tent, otherwise your sucking out all the air being pulled in instantly and to make a difference in the lower section your tent, you will be running your exhaust on a high load .And if you just have the exhaust with no intake, one your kpa is going to be to high or to low, and two your going to be collecting dirt and dust on all the Velcro sections of that tent from there being no intake and it pulling air from all the weak points of entry on the tent, only if your not running an intake as well. You can do the exhaust pipe pulling low and intake high, but that is not recommended, you want the exhaust pulling the heat out the top and fresh being circulated in by the potting area preferably. Unless you are just leaving the tent open and exhausting the room. I have had a few marshydro tents over time, I'm not a fan of the Velcro they have, that is why I'm saving for a gorilla tent next. They are more durable and are better sealed for a controlled environment, especially if you use any CO2.

If I didn't already have the other large room of my house turned into a flower room and my guest bedrooms walk in closet as my veg and could get away without buying anymore tents. My wife threatened if I turned anymore rooms into growing rooms, she would move in with her sister, so I have compromised and bought tents, so far she doesn't mind having a tent in the bedroom lol. She says the exhaust helps her sleep lmfao

okay so yeah my intake is up higher should I open one of the vents? Wouldn’t that be bad for light leak because of my 12-12. I just don’t have an intake close to the ground other then the two Velcro air vents

If you move that to the lower area aren’t you able to seal up the area of concern with duct tape or some other means?

I mean I guess I could but that would defeat the purpose of my intake being low. If I cover up the vent with duct tape it’ll keep light out yes but it’ll not let my air through.

Light leak isn't like a sanitary thing where you have to seal it out like air. Some isn't going to reveg a plant.

You just have to run it down from one of the top ports. You have enough ducting
