Mothers are cruising, they will be cut back tonight. For shits and giggles I'll put some in my cloning rig and test a couple different sizes and cuts, scraping vs no scraping etc. I haven't done anything to this 23 gal reservoir in two weeks, It'll get a full flush and go into my 4x4, tonight or tomorrow night. I need to be able to be able to leave the 4x8 tent open during dark cycle bc of high humidity.

The rest look good as long as you don't look too close... I burnt the shot out of the edges of the fans by turning the lights up too fast (I jumped them from 50% to 80%😣) or from not doing my weekly flushes and resets; or a combination. Weekly flushes take almost all of the guess work out, bc it's like starting brand new every week.

The bud sites and accompanying leaves are starting to frost up nicely, those will make some nice 24k bho...

I'm leaning towards a combination of the two things, and maybe the small pot size as well (small root ball that can't supply the transpiration water demands)... Be akin to ceasing to sweat when out in the blazing sun. Whatever it was or is; they didn't fookn like it!

I turned the light back to 50% and did a flush. If that doesn't stop it, then I'll have to suspect the small pot size. Tonight is flush and de-foil night. It should make them look better anyways; the biggest leaves leaves got it the worst, but it's just kind of random, with the bigger plants seeming to get it worst (which is why I suspect pot size plays a part)

Fwiw, the colas closest to to lights are bigger. I couldn't even imagine trying to count tops; even if they don't get very big, what they lack in size, they'll hopefully make up for in numbers.

It was a crap shoot to start, but oh my have they grown since their red solo days.

Capt said 8-10 weeks.... Do you cali blues growers think 4-6 more weeks is enough for these to amount to anything? I'm hoping for at least a couple of zips... thoughts? Questions, comments, concerns?

👊 😎

I don’t appreciate that laughing face emoji @BearWater its not funny😂👍 but yea gunna pluck it n hope for the best the rest still white haired it’s a plant in the bottom left corner the fans blow at it but not away from it so I might get lucky the rest are mint👍
With the difficulty you experience in ordering seeds and actually getting them, I don’t know why you aren’t trying to make your own. I also wouldn’t worry about nanners 2-3 weeks before a total chop down, maybe if you were doing a staggered harvest but 2-3 weeks won’t result in any viable seeds. I think the cannabis gods might be showing you the way 🤣

I’m with you! I was real calm my last run, even learned a few things about lower nanners vs the whole damn plant blowing up. Like you say, you learn to understand it and it ain’t no thing most the time : )
I learned that if I didn’t harvest my Pineapple Express after 8-9 weeks it’d throw nanners and try to self pollinate. Took having it happen twice before I learned that it was just trying to survive and make new babies.

Here we go coffee is in me 🤣🤘

3 gallons watered in to the 60 gallon, I’ll wait an hour and give her another 1-2 gallons

Really glad we didn't move to Tennessee when we were younger and dumber🤣 I got the time to hunt and fish but I ain't got the energy🙃

And it's been fking COLD in the mornings, like mid 40's🥶🤣 and I'm not getting outta bed to go sit in the woods or on a lake shore/boat when it's colder than a ditch diggers ass in the snow🤣
I hunted all day yesterday in foothills of the white mountains. It never broke 40 degrees. Was spitting snow off and on all day, with a howling wind that at times sounded like a woman screaming. Best part of the day was finding a spot facing south southeast where the sun kept poking out from behind the clouds and it would warm me up a little. Worst part was still hunting the afternoon around a big clear cut , just to find another hunter who ignored our truck and went into the woods anyways. Not that I would shoot one but that area was lousy with moose sign everywhere.

A nice ridge I sat on that was overlooking a hardwood grove.

makes total sense! : ) but thats a hard way to find out lol.

But non the less something that came from familiarity with the particular strain. Also nothing worth panicking about unless you’re staggering your harvest. Like if I had plants that were in early stages of flower, then I’d be chopping the plant down at first sign of nanners.

Oh for sure! There’s “get this thang outta here urgency” but not quite the panic! : ) every time I’ve found one it’s a yoink from a branch out the room into the pile out back! I think i might start putting the males and herms (none this round so far🤞) in the trash can.

Average elevation in NH is around 1,000 feet above sea level, with our highest peak Mt Washington being 6,288 feet high. I live in the southeastern part of the state only twenty minutes from the coast. Around 200 feet above sea level.

How do you account for the wind before taking a shot? I've delt with crazy wind before and it's a bitch to make a shot over 40-50 yards😉
