The YZ is actually the smaller bike only 125 i bought it for my eldest son about 5 yrs ago was pretty much brand new fully rebuilt everything from motor to sprockets brakes everything hardly spent a cent on it in 5 years only new piston n rings the orange girl is mine ktm 250 blew it up within a month of owning but now she’s fully rebuilt top n bottom end new tires so she will do me a while yet wouldn’t mind a 450 but dunno if I can justify the money on it plus the tracks I ride I don’t really need one but I do want 1Love every part of growing, now it always makes me sad to chop them down, but trimming is what I dread. Ever since I just grow my own, I don't have enough to justify having someone else trim for me. And I love the yami. Classic blue. Not sure what the smaller bike is, but still looks like alot of fun. Isn't nice having a trailer?! Not having to get the bikes in the back of a pickup has been a game changer for me. And hey making your own tails/track is more fun then riding a premade track, less people to worry about and you can enjoy the scenery, as well as stop and have a safety meeting for the adults (smok'n the ganjas)
With ktms you really have to follow the break in procedure, but even then problems can arise. Ktms usually run pretty amazing. And a 450 is an all around good bike, it has the power to send it and the low end to take it easy. The YZ is actually the smaller bike only 125 i bought it for my eldest son about 5 yrs ago was pretty much brand new fully rebuilt everything from motor to sprockets brakes everything hardly spent a cent on it in 5 years only new piston n rings the orange girl is mine ktm 250 blew it up within a month of owning but now she’s fully rebuilt top n bottom end new tires so she will do me a while yet wouldn’t mind a 450 but dunno if I can justify the money on it plus the tracks I ride I don’t really need one but I do want 1![]()

Yea cost me 3k to fully rebuild I’ll do the 2stroke myself but not the 4stroke to many valves n shit I can mess up I’ve only just ran her in now on the new motor about 20hrs of not flogging it takes some patience when she blows next time il upgrade be nice not to have to kickstartWith ktms you really have to follow the break in procedure, but even then problems can arise. Exactly, I have mine, less of an incline for the ramp and it's really quick to just get it strapped in. I have the tilt on my trailer that I use to unload the street bike, loading it is easier with the ramp. Two strokes are so much easier to throw together and go. As long as you run the recommended oil that ktm suggests you should be fine, it's just those rings can take a little bit to set correct, they keep a pretty tight tolerance. But once you do, you can ride the piss out of itAnd yea the trailer is a life saver I’ve nearly killed myself a few times trying to load em on my 4wd now just roll em up on the ramp ratchet em down n I’m away![]()

I have a 401 svartpilen from Husqvarna I ride every here and there, the main bike I ride is 07 cbr1000rr fireblade, I have had wayyy to many bikes to list throughout time. For dirtbikes though Yamaha or ktm and a few select kawis, like the Kawasaki 450s are pretty sickMy last 3 bikes ktm 300 smoker, ktm 400 mxc, and a husaberg 390fe, now my hands are shot from work![]()

I hear what you’re saying about loading into a pickup vs a trailer. Had to get my snowblower into the bed of my truck twice today by myself without ramps. That was a challenge. We got our first snowstorm of the season yesterday. Nice wet slosh muck that resembles white cement mix, the shit that makes snow removal a heart attack risk. Normally I just use the boxtruck and run it up the ramp, but it’s in the shop.Love every part of growing, now it always makes me sad to chop them down, but trimming is what I dread. Any of you guys in the southern hemisphere have to deal with snow??
I'm in Washington by the mountains, I deal with the snow every year, it doesn't stay long at my elevation, but I'm close enough to be 20 minutes from snow for 7 months of the yearI hear what you’re saying about loading into a pickup vs a trailer.
