Day 1 -3 clones of NYC Piff # 3 grown in 2 gal pots of Paonia 50/50 Bomb soil. Just PH water 6 at the moment.

2x2 vivosun 100w led with 90w full spectrum supplemental floor lighting. Small fan coming later today.

Current conditions pushing 27 c or roughly 80F 39% humidity.

Planning on co2 pack possible humidity control however planning on flowering within 2 weeks. Hello world let’s make frankincense terps popular again!

Learned very quickly fresh transplants need gentle light these ladies were very responsive and let me know I removed supplemental light and lowered overall light intensity purchased a temporary fan for circulation out wet rag for humidity current temp 25.7c and 57% humidity

In my opinion you should give those plants at least a month minimum of veg, if your going to be doing training without doing any mainlining or topping, I would have the net about 20 inches above the pot and start then. If you want small plants then a fast veg is fine, but you have the space. Why not fill it up with what you have already?

And you don't need the ucl going yet. It's a waste of money. And if you run CO2, make sure you are utilizing it correctly and at the correct times, other wise that is a waste of you are not running it when the plant can utilize it most. I'm not saying anything negative about your grow, just some tips, you obviously know you don't have to listen to me, but really the only thing I strongly advise for your benefit and yield is to veg them longer since you have the pot size and room.

This is my first actually grow I learned fast I needed to raise the humidity.. I needed slightly higher ph water ..1 light at 50 percent. And removed ucls after first 3 hours. Scared of light burn and also possible nuts lock out not exactly sure check out the vid. I lied my first watering was like 5.7 ph ..watered today with 6.7 but won’t water again for a few days Won’t add them back till after start of flower.. thank you so much for any advice mostly spent years online on YouTube and spent a little time working a a grow facility but didn’t learn too much as they only had me bagging up 8ths all day with my titties out, at least that’s how I felt..I will keep this updated.

The ucl will come in handy when you get them bigger and towards flower, but for now just run your light. Try to aim for keeping the lights where you are running about 400-600 mol/m²/s for the most of the vegative state of the plants, when you begin bloom you will want to increase the ppfd at the top of the canopy. To make sure you are not over feeding just keep using ph balanced water, preferably filtered water so your not adding extra ppms, I do believe that soil has buffers in it, so I would wait for a bit, and check run off in the next couple weeks for ec level and ph. When the roots are just about to the bottom, I would recommend amending the soil or starting a light feed, trying to keep your ppm levels in par for the stage of growth.

You can also look up on the company website, and see if they have any available data on the soil and check what they have on information for the soil. But always check your soil pH, and use the recommended pH for growing in soil. The plants won't need feed for a while, where do you have your intake and exhaust entering and exiting the tent? You want intake on bottom of the tent and exhaust up high, you can dial in your rh and your vpd if you have good air flow and your lung room has a balanced humidity you can use. For extra humidity you can do a few things to raise humidity. But for your rh and your vpd they have an inverse relationship

Also for your first grow I would stray away from mainlining the first time, maybe start off with fimming or topping. On your next grow when you are more comfortable you can look into hst (super cropping) but for this one start of with a little bit of lst when they are at an appropriate size. You will also want to go easy on defoliation on your first grow. There is a sweet spot you will end up working towards. If you are trying to do those things, just try to look into some of the other people grows that are successful with doing mainlining and super cropping, but those are advanced techniques, so I would suggest just focusing on getting all the basics down to be able to maintain happy healthy plants so the next grows you do when you do any form of stress training, you're not shooting yourself in the foot
(P.s. these are just my personal opinions and thoughts, so if you feel risky or taking a leap into doing advanced techniques, that's totally up to you, but know the risks of hurting your potential if you overdue something or try to much to fast.)

Thank you for all the tips will be following a lot of your advice …filter and exhaust outside of the tent for space I have airflow coming into the tent, making sure there’s no light leakage also using coffee filters to help filter dust and pet hair. I have been able to dial in the temperature and humidity. This strain is a sativa dominant strain and the parents are known to flower 12 to 15 weeks and it’s the stretch I’m trying to avoid and that’s why I was gonna do an early flip. I definitely think I can veg probably for a month though just depending on the growth we’ll see. I was probably going to double scrog. Also because of my low wattage I thought I would have to flower longer soil ph is 7. Read somewhere that living soil and cannabis the ph can be a little higher like 6.7 and luckily the filtered water I’m using has no chlorine and also is at 6.7.

1 week the girls are responding well. Seems they suffered transplant shock and I am to blame for part of that however they are bouncing back they lost some color but color is bouncing back new growth looks healthy watered 2 cups each last Saturday won’t water till thurs possible fri. Placed Scrog early bent the ladies in half once scrog is filled flipping to flower. Light is currently at 24 inches above canopy at 100 percent . But was 18 inches at 75 until yesterday.

Thats some really good growth in a week 👊🏼

I hope the heater is okay? Did it need stitches? 😉

Just using the fan setting on the heater until I get better fans

14 days since receiving the clones. Don’t mind the clutter and or experimentation. But check out the ladies watered last Tuesday after post with 5-1-1 fish fertilizer to bring back green… water again last Saturday ..maybe tomorrow morning I’ll water again …I have already had to do some pruning and as of right now I can say this plant responds very well to last…here’s a few pics from throughout the week growing basil as companion plant for terps development experiment…also decided to add a sour apple auto from Humboldt seeds looking forward to seeing her sprout 🌱. Noticed humidifier helps keep temp cool as well.

Ok officially week 3 ..all I can say is this …these plants can take a beating..not proud but the basil I introduced also introduced what I believe to be spider mites (chopped them left roots for new growth) that or had the start of powdery mildew so in beginner fashion over reacted sprayed everything with a hydrogen peroxide, clove water mix, fried the leaves then went out and got diatomaceous earth ….over applied…did heavy pruning but no topping …then overwatered same day I applied all the spray bought a moisture reader so that won’t happen again…accidentally snapped the sour apple auto that sprouted so planted two more…I need to calm TF down.. dropped rh to under 60

Week 4 of veg…two sour apples popped not sure what I’m going to do with them just yet as there may not be enough room in the tent I might make them house plants because why not. She’s bouncing back …once she started to show bounce back I did some topping with more lst training and cropping. Let her dry out for 7 days to counter over watering.

Week 5 this week on the Piff and almost two weeks I think for the sour apple autos. I did heavy defoliation I added supplemental lighting water according to dry back, gave the autos a little bit of fish fertilizer. Everything is going well at the moment I will say adding supplemental lighting has increased the heat of the tent to about 80 8182° however we’re still in veg fine increase humidity the temperature lowers but I have to be careful. I just been letting them rock out. Basil came back to life in two pots 🎉

Week six, according to my calculations, it’s time to flower put in flower yesterday actually and she’s already starting to stretch. I will say I did feed her Alaskan fish emulsion anticipating the thrower in the flower. Those little red clips are actually trash. They work but once your plants wants to get sick if you want to remove them, it’s impossible damn near. I broke a top by accident trying to save her in the water bottle just for fun took all the red clips off and raise my scrog and lowered the lights. But this sour apple auto from humblolt seeds is an absolute beast it’s only two weeks from seed! What up Greednadian! Like stand up comedy ? @comedianjeremyjay
