Some do some don't but if you don't have a big enough area I would not use co2 to much co2 can kill your plant. The more light than you can add more co2 but I still would not recommend the co2.

You can die in the room but even with weak light 2000ppms would not harm the plant
Running anything above 1500 ppms for an extended amount of time can actually cause toxicity to the plant and kill it slowly. Good rule of thumb is to only run 400- 500ppms above ambient CO2 levels, anything above 1200ppms is a waste, and if you don't use it at the correct time for utilizing it correctly, it's a waste of money and can just be more of a headache if you don't know what you are doing. If CO2 is something anyone wants to do that hasn't done it before, I would suggest do your own personal research to find out what setup would best fit you and your area, as well as understanding how and when to use it, as well as the ups and downs. Also find a grower you trust you can ask for information to help you. It's not a necessary extra system you need for growing, but if you have all the basics dialed in and want to have more environment control, then CO2 maybe something to look into, otherwise don't worry about it and continue to create a sturdy foundation for how you grow.
Its an economical waste but not hurting it you can find graphs online but you get a huge spike until 1500 then after that its a slow raise.still plant usable but not economical.

I chose the bar light instead of the board. I was concerned about the driver heating up the tent and with the bar light I put the driver outside the tent.
