Low humidity, should I put a humidity dome around my plant?

Hi everyone,

My plant is pretty small given its on day 21 or so after sprouting. I just transferred pots because the previous one I was using had a lot of rocks at the bottom since there was no drainage hole and the plant was growing into the rocks. The humidity is currently at 25-40% which I know is pretty low given its current state. Should I put a humidity dome around it to trap moisture and allow it to grow faster? Pic below:

I would not put a humidity dome on the plant. Other than being small for its age, it looks good. I have a feeling the small size is a product of the former potting arrangement not the humidity. If you feel the need, you could get a humidifier.

What, nobody gonna say anything about that duck foot mutation?

Even with clones, I'm on a mission to lose whatever supporting doming I'm providing as soon as possible. You want to harden them, not baby them... but if they're wilting in the dry air then they do need the support. I would keep the dome nearby but only use it if the plant needs it. That's my two cents worth.

The humidity is a bit low. What's the temperature?

The plant looks okay. I think it's slow establishing itself.

Even with clones, I'm on a mission to lose whatever supporting doming I'm providing as soon as possible. You want to harden them, not baby them... but if they're wilting in the dry air then they do need the support. I would keep the dome nearby but only use it if the plant needs it. That's my two cents worth.

I see it on the one leaf but the others look like northern lights 3 fingers

Until u get a humidifier if u don't have one use small towels soaked in hot water in a open container put by plant with fan build a cardboard box around the plant under light.

That will get her going.

Whats your vpd. You should aim for 0.8 but its livable with 0.6 as well.and up to 1.4

I Do as much open pots of water in the box but doesnt give much %.
You can put a paper towel in the pot and raise t above water with a fan makes it a lot better.you can allsoo buy those room air defusers on aliexpress they cost a few $ or a real humidifier

Looks like your watering only under the plant? Edge of pot deattached.your gonna make it hydrophobic.you should water the whole pot makes the roots want to populate everything.no reason to grow in a desert allsoo wet soil will raise humidity as well.

Super small for day 21 your probably not watering right.

Hmm, good point. Not wilting currently, so probably ok.

Temperature sitting between 70-80, lately its been a bit higher but rn its low 70s.

VPD is pretty bad sitting around 1.5 lol. I have a real humidifier, but I moved a year ago and it's not at my place. I watered only under since it was recently transplanted, gonna take your advice and water the rest of the pot, thank you!

It's pretty darn hard to control the environment without a tent. That looks like a plastic pot, too, so it won't release humidity like a fabric pot does. It might help, if possible, to put the plant in a more humid part of the home, like a laundry area or bathroom.

I'm also thinking reducing drafts near the plant might help, maybe by using a large cardboard box.

Try for close to 77ºF with the light on and a few degrees lower with the light off.
