Its an economical waste but not hurting it you can find graphs online but you get a huge spike until 1500 then after that its a slow raise.still plant usable but not economical.

I forgot how much can kill us but at 800 you allready start feeling bad with headache

You might be right or not i cant find anybody talking about 2k.i know bruce did a study with over 2000 he talked on talkshows about it but i dont want to search for that
It's 1200 additional ppm to ambient level is what I am referring to. So that's roughly 1500-1600 ppms

And by the way you will get sleepy, not to much of a headache unless you stay way to long and get CO2 poisoning. But you will start yawning first and that's a good sign CO2 is too high 👍🏼

And you are correct it's past 2000 ppms it will start hindering the photosynthesis and cause more problems down the road. For running CO2 you will want to also understand the correlation between CO2 level and the light intensity. It's a fun subject to get into. But can be overwhelming for new growers. I know veterans that just choose not to deal with CO2, and they do just fine.

I just turn a candle in the box is more than 0 thats enough for me.in theory it can make 1500ppms in a 1x1x2 but i vent my box

Looks like I won't need to move the plants. Sleeping arrangements have been altered and they can stay in the guest room, yay. Told hubby I was going to put them in the garage (man cave) with a light for a few days and he said, humidity is only 25% so probably not a good idea. I'm impressed, didn't think he was paying attention. LOL
BTW, I increased the lamp from 4 to 5 yesterday and they look fine today.

CO2 is for a perfectly running grow room and having plants already dialed in. Otherwise is pretty much useless! It is nowhere near as dangerous as CO (monoxide) thats the silent killer. A lot of work places deal with high CO2 (1200ppm) on a daily basis, mixed with freak air and no side effects.

Running anything above 1500 ppms for an extended amount of time can actually cause toxicity to the plant and kill it slowly. Good rule of thumb is to only run 400- 500ppms above ambient CO2 levels, anything above 1200ppms is a waste, and if you don't use it at the correct time for utilizing it correctly, it's a waste of money and can just be more of a headache if you don't know what you are doing. If CO2 is something anyone wants to do that hasn't done it before, I would suggest do your own personal research to find out what setup would best fit you and your area, as well as understanding how and when to use it, as well as the ups and downs. Also find a grower you trust you can ask for information to help you. It's not a necessary extra system you need for growing, but if you have all the basics dialed in and want to have more environment control, then CO2 maybe something to look into, otherwise don't worry about it and continue to create a sturdy foundation for how you grow.
See i told you too much co2 can kill your plants I've experienced it my self that is why I posted what I posted.lol

That's why having the room vented is important, so you have a constant fresh air exchange. Anything above 1000ppm constantly for a human will cause drowsiness. Above 5000 ppms brings headaches and nausea. Above 40000 can be instantly fatal. Hope that helps 👍🏼

Im sure you didn't actually read my posts lmfao. If you read my posts you would see. I know how to use CO2 bud 👍🏼

See we do listen, we just pretend not to.

Did you open your tent like this?

So today the plants were still looking sad and it was watering day, so I put both the greenest one and the sickest looking one in the tub and ran 4 gallons of well water ph adjusted to 6.0 through the pots. Let them drain, then put back in the tent. I took off all the weights and am going to monitor the results before doing the same to the two others.
Room at 75F, 50% humidity. (I love going in there, but it's tough coming out) The rest of the house is at 70F and 35% humidity.
