My personal take, clear trichomes don't have anything yet so you really just don't want clear ones, so I'm watching and waiting for everything appearing clear to cloud up, but whole I'm waiting some of the trichomes that turned milky early are going to start fading to amber, so I make the call to chop when cloudy is turning amer at a faster rate than clear is turning cloudy.

I'm days away from harvest myself right now. Really happy with this run, everything clouded up with very little clear even left, and now I'm just waiting for a little bit of blush and they're coming down!

So this is the one that is mainly cloudy now very little amber maybe 10-15% amber. The past two weeks the color as really popped. I slowly dropped the temps to 68 during the lights on and 58 lights off. She is now sitting in a 72 hr dark time before I chop her

Milk/amber split, even is fine I like more milky because while I want pain relief the couch lock is not me. I prefer engaged and interested.

To my eye your plant is ready to harvest, letting it go until turning amber isn't ideal for flavour ime the lighter fruity fragrant aromas get replaced with earthy, hashy aromas that's less desirable.

I will be chopping tomorrow afternoon it is in a complete dark cycle before harvest now.

I agree the couch lock is not for me either. I just no that on one of me Granddaddy Purp plants I chop way to soon. Good flavor good smoke not long lasting.

I mean yeah I do the regular checks and scope and stuff but I also cut off a small nug around 7/8 weeks, rip it and then can taste exactly how long it needs....... otherwise I will never stop second guessing myself 😅
