Back in the day I spent a lot of time with Dark Side of the Moon on headphones, high and laying in bed. And while there were many days/nights like that I also spent a lot of time with Genesis, and Peter Gabriel. Today i know all their songs by heart and for sone reason can't seem to get enough of their work lately like this gem


Went to see Brand X at the Whiskey A GoGo on Sunset late 70's. A jazz/rock fusion band. The drummer was this guy named Phil Collins. Yeah, that Phil Collins. He didn't play that night, I was bummed. The band rocked. I haven't a clue who stood in for him.

3 chords and a bridge don't hold my attention long and why I like this prog shit and classical. Mozart comes to mind. Love it. I still listen for hours, never gets old, but these guys, Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant, Renaissance with Annie Haslem, ELP and Greg Lake. The 70's was something special and we didnt really have a clue at the time. And then there's was Frank Zappa

Peter Gabriel was more than just a singer of a band. He was a performer. He wore costumes while performing their albums live as the albums were whole stories, before rock operas. Damn, I'm high and old

Oh yeah very familiar with Collins' side band, an now you're dropping other particular names that are like foreplay... Had another tune in mind I was gonna drop (Disco Suicide) but this one... If you wonder why people said Phil Collins was a mind blowing drummer because you hear him good but not THAT good on his work with Genesis. Had to tone it down for the masses.



Yeah Frank Zappa wish I'd caught him playing live before we lost him, dude was genius. There's a modern technique of putting a riff from one song into another song, a popular way of doing a hat tip to the original artist as well as building familiarity into the piece, and he came up with that shit in the 1960's. Guy was writing genius musical notes and then writing in hilarious lyrics, or vise versa whatever his method.

Back in the 80's we used to drop LSD and go catch the Lazarium Show up at Griffith Park, synchronized to the music of bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Genesis. I still remember one from the Genesis show, they played Carpet Crawlers while a giant 3D worm crawled around on the dome above. And the Zeppelin one they played Gallow's Pole while a cowboy swung a lasso and riding a horse galloping to the music. I was high AF, had to remember SOMETHING from each show as a mental souvenir.

Oh, another moment from the Zeppelin one, Plant sang out, "And the forests will echo with laughter," and then some random chick in the audience shouted out at the top of her lungs, "Doesn't anybody remember the laughter?" And the entire audience broke out into simultaneous laughter and cheers.

I got a Scotty Real link on you tube after watching his videos about the dea paying him a visit. Apparently he got russet mites. In the comment section someone said he’s not the first to get bugs after a dea visit.
That got me thinking about a random visit from some “pest control guy”. He stopped at my place, no one else’s, and proceeds to tell me about these spiders and ants he’s treating for, he’ll give me a good deal . I tell him flat out no. My dogs are outside and he caught me off guard because I was going outside. Next thing he’s acting I child and begging to use my bathroom holding his crotch like he’s three years old. My dogs got wilder than I have seen them and I tell him to get stepping before they break my glass door. Two days later my wall, doors, windows are crawling with these ants and spiders that act. like trying to get in the house. I killed them with standard pesticides, but these things were crazy. They were on the walls and entrances not on the ground where you find ants and dudes “reason” for stopping by was because he saw an ant hole in my yard.

rather than having to hunt them down.
I found white balance, what should it be set at?

maybe try 2800k but probably close to that your light is different than mine.

You and me both brother I've had this s22 for about a month and still need to spend a lot of time learning how to use the camera. There have been a few shots that have rocked but damn. At least we can finally toss our loops and magnifying glasses and can actually see the trichome colors

if you can get a tripod with no shaking you can get crazy results
