It's been a week since I potted my blueberry seed,s there's 17/18 sprouted.

I was hoping the last one would sprout but it looks like it's a dud.

They're almost at the point where they start growing quickly, the 1st 10/12 days is a bit slow then day on day there's good progress.

I found some pics from my 1st proper run with 12-12 from seed, I've made some changes along the way its speeded things up but at the cost of yeild per plant.

They were vegged in those same pouches only 1 size bigger and I potted them immediately after sex was revealed, it was after this crop I started holding off with potting up in a bid to help keep them more compact they were in 12-12 right through I hadn't tried 11-13hrs/10-14hrs at the time, they needed 70 days, overall things are a good bit quicker now but there's been a trade off for sure, it's a price I'm happy to pay tbh and jeez it's great to actually have an option!

So this at 8th morning these are started under 200 watt led lamp kept 12 inches above at day 15 plants will transplanted to 15 gallon pots with 1000 watts per lamp light will be placed 36 inches above plants then dropped 8 inches a day till 1000 watts are 12 inches above plants

Yes bro that's correct, after that 1st 12-12 crop above I started using less hrs, I've used 11-13 in all of my crops since then except the crop I've got drying that was done in 10-14hrs.

I watched a YouTube video it explained in detail the benefits of less hrs so I tried it next crop, that was the 1st time I'd had plants harvestable at 8wk.

Edit...jfc I veg in 12-12 until sexed then reduce the hours to 11-13hrs

On a side note, I'll take 100 of #10 on a 4*8 table any damn day.

Crikey it's been 2 full days since I posted

I gave them a little rearranging before I left them.

Im thinking about cutting the light hrs further, tbh if I could get a clone and a decent tester I'd be happy, besides cutting vegging hrs idk what else to try, I've stalled potting up, I've cut the light hrs and vegg in 12-12 but they're still big plants, it seems cannabis is destined to be big in most cases regardless

Idk for certain but 200w a lot of light for young seedlings

With led I need 60w/125w that's about 3ft away, I've got the light on 4 ratchet adjusters to get an extra foot height, I gradually increase the light intensity to avoid problems with light stress seedlings don't need a huge amount of light.

When I'm not using led I use t5s they're ideal in that they give off a nice bit heat, they're not terribly efficient 18k lux for 100w but it's a plug and play light I don't need to concern myself with timers and temp controller.

Continuing with my good fortune I won any pk of Dutch passion fem seeds, my choice
I was thinking blueberry is the obvious choice but maybe not, it wouldn't surprise me to find it's went the same way as other blueberry that were once good

Anyone grown Dutch passion blueberry in recent times?

Hey guys I hope you're all enjoying the festive holidays, they're 2.5wks old the growth rates are starting to speed up a little now.

The t5s weren't big enough to cover all of the plants so I removed them and switched on the led @25% + tube heater.

I decided to test 5x exo x blueberry seeds and 5/5 sprouted

I didn't intend to grow them but I had some old coco pouches handy so I used them to pot the exo x blueberry sprouts into.

So I increased the light intensity today up to 50% power

According to the ppfd meter the t5s output around ± 400 ppfd so 50% should be ok?
With led 50% power reads 380 ppfd @3ft away, the temps have increased with the extra power and the ducting I added so that should help with the increase in light, fingers crossed things don't derail now with light issues
