About 12 years ago I got a template overlay on the g store that turned my nook e reader into a STTNG padd.
It really was a nice job. It had fake " menu's " that went no where due to my clearance but all the functions of the reader were in the menu. It looked like a standard screen on the model D Enterprise.

I was more a Hitchcock, Sterling and Dr. Who guy than Star Trek so honestly I know nothing other than the communicator thing, the beam me up thing, and Cling on's because it was funny when my Dad told me what they really were. I have no idea what a STTNG pad is.

Not bad

I dont know what to call this "reclaim"
But ill find a use for it.

Funny you bring up Data Centers, they're trying to get one going near A2 (Ann Arbor) and the locals are not having it.
Detroit Edison says it'll increase power consumption by 25%, but no worries, your bill won't go up. (like hell it won't)
Just heard on the News, the board of commissioners has approved the construction. Oh, well.

Loved Sterling and Hitchcock. Grew up watching Twilight Zone and Hitchcock Presents. Even bought the Hitchcock monthly magazine on occasion - His name, short stories from various authors. Good stuff especially Sterling's latter TV work like Night Gallery and the 6th Sense but Star Trek was always my favorite. In the late 80's into the 90's it ran in the LA/OC market at 11pm Mon-Fri. Watched it for years and will still put it on from time to time. It was the chemistry of the actors that made the show what it was. I was 6 when it started airing and loved it. But then again I loved Greatest American Hero too so there's really no accounting for taste🤣

I loved Night Gallery. I can still whistle Hitchcock’s theme song.

When I was very young I received a crystal radio kit for Christmas. Being in Toledo Ohio we also picked up Detroit and of course 700 WLW.
Public radio always had the best radio drama theater. I learned at an early age about the evil that lurked in the hearts of man. The radio version of the Green Hornet had so many high powered guest stars it was like a who's who of the transition from radio to tv.

I'm doing a crude method of similar using a cardboard box about the size of a wine fridge. It's really an RH buffer design but works great lining it with a plastic bag and leaving it open or closed varying degrees with a fan inside to regulate humidity.

Shit, I just thought of something cool. I have a LaCrosse weather sensor that transmits temperature and humidity to a unit I have in the house. I'm gonna throw it in the box and save myself the hassle of running out there every two hours checking it!
My nightstand... 👍 😁

We have a restaurant down the block called Pita King, Greek gyros etc and we love it. We've been working on making our own since I saw a recepie some years back about mixing ground beef with ground lamb. A couple days ago my wife saw a recepie flattening out the meat between parchment paper, rolling it up and roast it then unwrap, slice into strips and broil to finish. So I added home made pita bread and tzatziki sauce and damn, we're getting real close

I just tossed them on the table to dry. They felt close today so I rolled one up to try. Bubble gum smell. The smoke didn't retain the smell and no Blueberry yet. Very different but good high for only 4 weeks into flower.

@Captspaulding 😢
This is heartbreaking. I hope him and his family and pilots didn't suffer. I send prayers to his family members and friends as well as the pilots family. He was a good guy if anyone doesn't know 'greg the biff' and who he was you should look him up because he is a legend and will stay a legend. Rip The Biff and your beautiful family.

I was too shocked and heartbroken to write anything when I posted earlier. I've been a Biff fan since his (NASCAR) rookie days in the early 2000's, what a heartbreaking and tragic loss of such a beautiful family.....

They were headed to Sarasota, more than likely for some Cleetus shenanigans... Those two were best friends, had amazing chemistry together and were breathing more life into the motor sports industry, than anybody else has in a very long time, I can only imagine the grief that Cleetus must be going through....

Farewell to a true racing legend and an even greater human being. Your impact reached far beyond the checkered flag—through quiet generosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others when it mattered most. You showed us that greatness isn’t only measured in wins or championships, but in character, humility, and service. The tracks will miss your presence, but the lives you touched will carry your legacy forward. Thank you for the inspiration, the memories, and the heart you brought to everything you did...

Condolences to all involved

RIP Biff and family....😢

High there farmers! Hope all is good in the hood.

Yesterday I soaked in some seeds in wet cotton - C99 fem, Blue Skunk and Jaggen. The fucking Blue Skunk managed to pop in less than 24 hrs. Sensi Seeds used to be the king for the whole 90s and early 2000s - at least here in Europe. Nowadays many people hate on them, but so far I had no bad experience with any of their seeds. Let's see if this is just another bland skunk, or if this shit is legit. They're selling clones of it here, so I guess with the right pheno it's actually a decent strain.

One of the C99 also came some hours later, nice surprise, since it seems like I got an old package (reseller) and the seeds didn't look to fresh - to my noob eyes at least.

You can buy the vertical spit gyro meat online. Only reason I have not done so is the commitment.
Smallest I found was 12 lbs. 😂
