Looking good arny!
Couple things -
Above 1500 ppm, you'll start seeing hang nails (burnt tips)
If you do have to bring it up, do it proportionally
I mix a concentrate in a one gal pitcher with my cordless, and then add that slowly to the reservoir until up to desired strength.
eg. If I'm adding 3 gal total to my res and it's been running a little weak, I'll put 2.5 gal clean h2o in the res and put .5 gal in my picture and mix a concentrate for
5 gal per the feeding chart. This gives the correct ratios; then add that to the res slowly until you're at your desired strength.
I find that most nutes come in low as per their feeding charts, so I'll mix accordingly. eg. If I'm mixing 10 gal total, I'll use the numbers as if I'm mixing 12. (Or just the opposite if it's coming out hot eg. you're adding 5 gal total and it's been running hot, mix your concentrate as if for 3-4 gal.)
It may sound complicated, but it's actually quite simple once you get into a routine.
Lemme know if I'm explaining this so it's understandable... I'm really high atm
