And then you will post your research?
Please.
Much like researching auto technology under the theory and operation section of a workbook I have not researched by measuring every single main journal thrust bearing allowable clearance.
I used published articles from university level and commercial growers.
I can also use my own photo grow of White Widow that finished at 65,000 lux with a converted DLI in flower of 45.
Man, this is why I don’t grow autos. Or indoors 🤯 but I’m learning

So, temp. on the porch was up 55 degrees F today so I dry sifted some (all) Granddaddy Purple Auto from last summer's harvest. Ended up with 1 3/4 jelly jars of hash. (approx. 14oz.) It's a bit green, but will be used in edibles so I'm not picky. I'm using a trim tray with a 150 mesh screen that works great.
BTW, I'm still using the Afghan I sifted a year ago. 😁

I bet that would be great to press😉

I bought a cheap one ($115) about 4 years ago and it sits in the garage. My only New Years resolution LAST YEAR was to pull it out and figure it out but I got stoned and here we are, another year older🤣 Maybe this year🙄
You have to spend so much time on your plants, and plumbering, you don't have it for 'hobbies'. LOL
(yes, I've had my 'cookie'. LOL)

Found an interesting study in my google searching.

Indoor is not as easy as I was led to believe, but don't worry, I'll get it, no matter how many plants I have to torture and mutilate. LOL
This is really interesting and quite timely and relevant to my situation. My three indoor plants are Northern Light fems and 10-11 weeks old. It's time to start thinking about switching to flower.

There's a heck of a lot of data here, I'll have to look but sure would be nice to get a sort of summary!

Great! As long as you come back and tell us it wasn't AI generated. LOL

i keep telling people most if not all hybrids will start flowering under 14/10,,
weeks 1-4.. 14/10
weeks 4-8,. 13/11
weeks 8- finish 12/12,..
sativas
weeks 1-6.. 13/11
weeks 6-finish.. 12/12,.,
I'm running 15hrs of light in my greenhouse and it keeps them in veg and they're just standard LED's. It's been a lot easier than I thought it would although this time of year with 10hr days that greenhouse is lit up for several hours after sundown and several before sun up and I hate that exposure.

If you are patient and use gloves you can also press it by hand but its tiring lol. Eventually with your body heat and the pressing it works. But certainly not all that ammount at once hahaha, nice haul! You make me envious I prefeer kief over hash most of the times.
Ah, forgot to mention, if you do it by hand adding a tiny ammount of water makes it way easier to stick together if youre having problems with that or takes too long. It will dry out if you let the hash cure a bit its no biggie.
The material has to be very dry so the trichomes get knocked out, that can make it difficult to bind depending on the microns and with 150 microns most certainly you have vegetal matter in there (which means more difficult to press by hand), I use 120 microns for mine and it doesnt stick well if its very dry.
Or you could also use a bottle with warm watter as a rolling pin and put the kief inside oven paper and voila, press it with the bottle and keep folding it and repeating for consistency. Once youre happy with how it looks a couple minutes to the freezer and thats it.
