I use a wooden dowel. I dip it in and if it comes out wet, I wait until the next day. I'm a simple man. I top water in Recharge plus a pinch of fulvic acid every Saturday regardless. I have a qt spray bottle I use between 2 Earthboxes.

From fresh seedling I usually wait at least 2 weeks to fill reservoir. During veg a reservoir lasts 3-5 days, depending on temp. In beginning of flower a full res lasts maybe a day. It tapers off after the stretch until its maybe a week at the end. The dowel never lies.

I was concerned that I was getting a K lockout so last week I top watered 5 gallons of water until it came out the overflow and then pumped out the reservoir with a wine pump The color was like dark urine. The next day I did it again with similar results. The third day I gave it recharge + fulvic. It looks happier now. I didnt want to go 9 cycles in this soil but also I didnt want to lose these genetics. Hence the reveg.

I did take several cuttings and plopped them in a bottle of water because I'm lazy.

Its been a month and I'm finally getting decent roots on a couple so I have one planted in Coast of Maine in a solo cup.

You can see the cooler temps have caused the color to some out on this girl. That and the suspected K lock out. But I am confident I will still have a half decent harvest

I have a freshly made box that has been sitting for a month getting Recharge every Saturday. It should be quite ready for the next round. I'm starting seeds tonight for it.

Good call on the flush.. might have something similar in my indoor tent, but...won't be able to flush them if I have too.. 😒, I think I'll be ok though, gonna veg them as long as I can before flipping 🙂. Nice grow by the way. Flowers look PHAT. Pretty Hot And Tempting

Thanks. I might just dump this box on top of the garlic I planted a couple months ago after this round is done. 9 cycles is pushing this soil to it limit I think. The flowers smell vaguely like wine this time.

@7munkee is it normal for the earthboxes to stay moist 24/7? Almost tempted to let these dry back a bit, seems like it's too wet for early going veg cycle.

Yes, what I have learned to do is after the reservoir is empty I will use Recharge, fulvics, or whatever else you want to give it by TOP watering. I never top water more than a quart or so though. And then fill the reservoir the next day.

You dont need to worry about it being too wet on the bottom because there is a 1 inch air gap between the highest water point and the bottom of the soil compartment. Osmotic pressure draws water up from the 2 wicking corners as the soil dries.

I shut down the blurple light on the side because it wasn't really helping. Probly just a waste of 100 watts.

I added my UVB light a few days ago. I have to manually turn it on and off because both my timers are being used.

So when I noticed the earthbox was kinda "too wet" last week? I inspected the whole pot this weekend and noticed it was just the corners of the wicking area 😂 😂 We filled up the bottom reservoir to the max and plants just came to life after that,., lol, fuk man, glad I caught that, Bro, the main stem is getting thick.. tripping out on that, these boxes are growing on me, ordered another one just in case, but probably don't need it. When do you usually flip with these boxes? same o same o?? I usually go at least 4 weeks, have to check my calendar.

I flip when I'm down to 8 ounces of herb lol. Seriously though I dont like stretchy plants so I get kinky with my girls and tie them down and bend them over and veg as long as I can up to maybe 45 - 60 days. If you are not manipulating them for height I wouldn't go further than 40% of your tent/room height. With a long veg you may need to top dress. But you should be doing this each cycle anyway.

I usually top dress 1/4 cup per between cycles plus a cup of minerals plus a cop of castings. I use a blend of seedmeals. I got the Recipe from Jeremy at BuildASoil. Been using it for 3-4 years now and very little issues.

Most pistols have browned and receded now and the leaves are fading. I took this plant at 65 days the last time and it was perfect, so I have 2 weeks left. I have two cuttings in slow veg mode under about 200ppfd in solo cups. Maybe I'll grow it again next winter.

I think my Bruce Banner 2.0 seeds are not viable because they haven't popped yet. Its been like 10 days. I have a new order from Nirvana coming next week so I will probly go with White Fire OG for me and Super Silver Haze for my kids. Nirvana still has great prices but they stopped selling regular seeds. That kind of limits the gene pool so no unicorns from them.

It is what it is. Saddest looking plant I've ever grown inside but I made it to harvest. This is what, cycle 8 or 9? I can't remember but its the last one. I did manage to get a cut a couple months ago but with the COLD temps it hasn't grown much.

Chopped her this morning. All the buds are tight and dense and it smells wonderful. I'm thinking about 6-8 ounces.
