Wow how many plants do you have? I usually do 4 plants and for 20$ i got 500g i did 4 years worth of growing
Current grow 2 70L pots i used a total of 60g

Crazy that you spend more than 1500 on nutes
This time i paid 80$ for 4kg and bought 25kg of magnesium for 40$ and 2kg of calcium for 12$ i am set for life i think

I use mostly stuff you can source at the do it yourself home improvement stores and it does the job great but I do find myself constantly mixing and having to steer correct to stay on track and that gets old, quite time consuming, and huge risk of mixing mistakes along the way. It's a great exercise if you don't really know how to feed cannabis, because you're definitely going to learn. And don't expect any help from those folks in the gardening department to be much help, I was out looking for a humic/fulvic and had a guy give me the stupidest look what I was asking for and had no clue. In his defense, people around here don't take care of their own lawns, so there's that.

When the opportunity arose to do a good seed run at peak season I planted more seeds behind what I had going to sneak some plants in while the weather was good. We were already the beginning of August so they matured and moved right to flower, those were 4 month runs didn't top or anything I just wanted to have some seedless in jars to smoke as a token of Fall 2025. I think I got about 1/4 oz off each, it was my old monsters I held off flipping til the male was gone that really came through for me. I got a real pleasant surprise from them. Ice Cream should be that great Ajax hit once I get a good cure on it, and the Banana OG really surprised me by smelling like fuggen BANANA except as a friend and I both agree it more closely resembles the artificial banana smell you find in candy and taffy than actual fresh banana. And while it doesn't have a good cure yet, we are already picking up taste of really good earthy with background banana.

I am proud of this wild weed plan I found. The plant was born in the soil at my backyard. And the plant just randomly germinated by itself; The only human interaction was that someone threw a bag seed outside.

I found a few nutrient lines that are perfect for first timers as long as they have a TDS and a pH pen. Lotus for sure, cronk. Ones I know that are good and affordable as well used is gh flora series, canna nutrients, emerald harvest, and a couple others. Having a good npk ratio can be achieved in many ways as long as the grower understands what base nutrients are used in the nutrient line and understands what the stage of plant is in and can get a close npk ratio that the plant is in need of. And side note I don't do autos indoors, but cronk has a Bonnie and clyde series that is specific for autoflowers if anyone is looking for autoflower specific nutrients

Just a heads up the original seeds were marked as Gelato, not G33. This could work out better for you but might also mean more hunting effort. These Gelatos were fuggen great, their smells were all over the map with sweet and fruity.

From what I've popped of everything playing around, bk x bk is going to definitely give you good density and awesome node growth. It will likely lean sour pine, but with those fruit crosses (Gel x BK, AOG x BK, ICC x BK, BOG x BK) it should introduce some options to find some sweet pine or some sour fruit.

Stick that EC and pH pen in every new grower's hands and explain to them how to use it and what the information means. This is the equivalent of teaching them how to fish instead of just giving them fish.

Well, I have a pretty simple set of metrics I go by,
1 over all plant vigor, growth rate/medium uptake. We eating well? We growing at a proper clip? No lagging behind the rest?
2 microclimate cohesion, disposition or just overall plant bitchiness relative to your rig
3 internodal growth density and spacing and plant structure predisposition
4 stem rubs, the stankiest most dynamic win.
5 phenotype inherent stability. we all looking like we are from the same folks?
No adoptees moonlighting as relative?
No third arms or legs?
No anomalous growth patterns in structure or weird leaf variegation?


Come on in, the water is glorious you little fuckers.


Otherwise you go in the rubbish bin.

I am in trim hell as well.....but I'm trimming in harvest. I just cut branches....do the dip into peroxide/water....baking soda/lemon juice/water....then rinse and hang to dry before the wet trim. I will do just a few branches at a time. Then do something else, then back at it.
