I have 4 frostette thats into week 7 of veg. I will be flipping 3 of them soon. When I do I will be spraying one of them. I have 2 Cinderella 99's.... thought about spraying one of those. Now can you spray these plants in same tent?....should they be isolated once the sacs open? May be silly questions....but I believe they would have to be treated as a regular....am I correct in saying that?

You can start spraying right after flip or wait until you see first signs of sex if they aren't femmed. No sense in spraying a male plant. Spray at the nodes where you saw the preflower bracts.

I remove the one I'm spraying then put it back. But you can spray in the tent if you don't care if some of the others might get a mist.

If you aren't open pollinating then yes you will have to separated males from females. But if you don't care who is getting pollen then no you don't have to.

Just remember when using sts or any type of reversal spray....

Do not smoke any part of the plant that was sprayed!

I'm sure you know, but the sprays are toxic to humans.....

This will be a chronicling of my attempt at a low input indoor winter grow. The strain is a three way composite Autoflower strain that was kindly given to me. Made up of (at best guess) Northern Lights, Cheese, and Trainwreck Auto flowers. Also my first attempt at developing seeds from a Femmed line using Colloidal Silver, 30-50 PPM. So why CS? The doses used and witnessed in other trials show a very low systemic residue but still effective at blocking the hormone(s) needed to invoke the dreaded nanners. In this case I want those yellow things. IOW the threat of ill effects from consuming, as in eating not smoking, is very low...somewhere in the 5 microgram (yes micro)/Kg BW. Far below the amounts needed to see ill effects.

I will be using two plants to start with and will add two more at week 3-4 to have receptive females available when (if) I get pollen generated from the first. I could store the pollen, and likely will, but since winters are relatively short here in the south I don't want to be playing with indoor autos when I want/need to get 2026's Outdoors started.

Follow along with me if you want too...don't if you don't. I'll start Nov 1. In the interim...time for the Hellbound train.

My first ever trainwreck grow still learning a lot but it’s coming out pretty good

People are ingesting CS at levels that will far surpass what's accumulated in the plants. So just how toxic it is? that's very very debatable.

Silver is also used as an antibiotic, not harmful when used properly. I've used it many many times on my livestock which I've then eaten and I'm still here. Or am I? Is this all a dream? Am I laying in big field of tall Mexican grass?

Update. Still no nuts. At this point no sense in my opinion to continue spritzing. I won’t kill her off and who knows balls may appear but whether they would have enough time to develop and produce pollen would be the question.

Onward and upward. I’m going to buy some of the raw material and make my own STS spray for next time.

A week to 10 days after they appear the pollen will be viable but the flowers may need "encouragement" to open, like with tweezers or just rubbing them over a screen. STS treated plants are stubborn in this way. You can also place a bunch of green bananas in the tent and the reintroduction of ethylene will help the flowers open.

It's been 21 days since I stopped spraying and I'm swimming in pollen now. Check out my thread to see exactly how I extract it.

Your plants will stay alive past their breeders date to finish maturing the seeds if you started late, just keep feeding it. It's not going to be stuff you want to smoke but the seeds are the point right?

I thought about that on the way down to the shop. I don't want buds I want pollen so as long as she stays alive and produces sacks that all I need. I have my shelley frankenauto who has been alive now 4 months so I know they'll survive. I have to just wait and see. Thanks for the kick in the ass.

Ok so I didn't watch the videos before but after watching now I have 3 observations.

1. I would expect the areas you are spraying to take on a slightly different appearance than the rest of the plant. They usually get darker and a little burnt. At least some spots on the leaves. It definitely possible your silver solution may be too weak or expired.

2. There's some spots that actually do look like possible "swelling" of future male sacs but it's hard to tell because the video keeps moving.

3. You sound like the most delightful, friendly person. If you're ever in NYC we should have a beer 🍻

Your first observation is something I did notice as well. There are no visible signs of damage at all. And secondly as well the bracts at the nodes are more swollen than I have ever seen on any other plant so far. I'll just let it ride and since there is so little left in the bottle I'll give her another spritz anyway just to finish it off.

I don't sweat little things or get upset and sometimes my joking can get out of hand or be taken the wrong way. And it's hard to communicate that in the written word as well. But yes, generally speaking I am a nice friendly guy.

And I'll say you are obviously a very helpful person and I do appreciate that. Let's see where this goes and maybe I'll get some pollen.

...NYC...wow that's a way a ways for me. So maybe a virtual beer.

I am following both you and @Grownsince95 conversation with my eyes and ears open....I am getting my C99 and Frostette ready to do just that process. I will be talking to you both....and by the way when you hook up for that beer let me know....
@grayoldandproud which Siver Thiosulfate did you buy.....is it the same as the one that I have? I don't see an expiration date on the packaging.

Im gonna clean up the bottoms of the 2 plants, defoliate them.....then start the process. I have 3 more Frostettes and another C-99 that I will smoke.....I plan on only spraying a few of the branches....I will mark them with tape....and use a piece of cardboard to keep from overstaying. Geez..like I don't have enough to do....
πŸ€£πŸ˜‚.....but you know I love it. Just set up a 2x2x3 tent on its side. I'm gonna clone everything....so I have more to work with if the reversal doesn't work.
