I hadn't heard of the Blackberry Gelato strain before (yes, I live in a cave and don't visit dispos). Figured it had been crossed but expected it to be named anything but Blackberry Gelato. Not very creative but fits.

Not sure which Gelato strain. I have the G33 Larry Bird variant and love the pink pistols and sweet taste. Looking forward to this one and hoping for keepers from both

If those were mine the Gelato is something I'd consider a really fun mutt strain of it. Seeds were off the Eighth Brother Farm and they're known for putting Durban into a lot of their farm beans, perhaps leaning into the landrace adaptability up there since they're an outdoor farm. What I can say is I wound up with a lot of really cool fruity variations off their Gelato and I let them get pollinated by a Blackberry Kush male for some new fun variations. The BK I harvested all came out leaning sour pine. I prefer a sweet pine and that's why I had my eyeballs on the BK x Gelato seeds as well as the Ice Cream Cake. The Alien OG I didn't really like the way the buds stacked but the cross might have helped.

And there's the BK x BK and thats some of what you got. Those ought to be beasts. No new genetics being brought into the family to sort out. I went hot on all my babies to see what they could take. Most of em cried uncle, went pale or yellow or crumbly on lowest leaves saying fucks this. Then there's the Blackberry Kush that seemed to almost gesture a middle finger out of its fans as if to say, "Come at me bro."

So I been using the same jbd piece for at least 20 years. The same unit my dad caught my brother smoking and tossed it into a brick wall across the yard. Only the stem and bowl broke. Picked up this from a company called chameleon glass in Phoenix. It is made in the USA , nice and heavy like the old school jbd stuff. USPS turned what would be an hour drive into almost a week long process. They picked it up in Phoenix and then delivered it to Phoenix where it sat. Then it got to my city and moved on to another city where it was just sitting no movement. I had to open an inquiry. Within a few hours without ever departing from the post office it arrived back in Phoenix . All the delivery texts I had signed up for stopped coming, but usps website still worked. So anyway after a tour of southern az it’s finally at the appropriate destination.

it came with three bowls and an extra stem, some candy and a bic lighter. Really cool guy, when I contacted them about the delivery gone a stray he assured me that they had two more if it don’t show. These are hand blown aren’t mass produced.

Sunny Brisbane mate. It has been a crazy coupla months here. We had a bunch of 85-90f days back in September.. really fast start to summer but luckily lately it's been pretty mild here.

Bunch of mates and family down in Vic and Sth Aus and it's been going from 74 one day to 110f the next. Its insane.

Was 76-110f one day and then 46-54f two days later in the middle of summer. Brisbane seems to be in a rift somewhere in another dimension of stability lately. Basically

Same crazy shit here in the Arklatex. We were 80 F just 6 days ago. Now back in the 50s/60s for highs and soon in the 40s.

Ya know, I've tried silica before but only during summer for the triple digit heat and didn't see any difference or improvement.

Never heard this before so maybe it's time for me to dig into the research and start using it in the winter
