My girlfriend brought home a couple homemade cookies from a friend at work that came with a warning. So I figured I’d see what all the hubbubs about and I just ate one. It’s 11:30 pm on the east coast, doubt I’ll be awake long enough to see how potent it is. Although the story about a family member who didn’t heed the warning, who ended up having to call someone for a ride home from the store after eating just one was intriguing. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what happens. I ain’t scared of no cookie

Yep, take off all the lower larf that wont amount to anything!
Keep an eye on that split stalk.....as your buds swell it may be enough to break again.
I have seen a few people use zip ties, left on the stalks for added support.

Accidentally left one of my husband's 'cupcakes' at my daughter's house and her boyfriend ate it. Let's just say he won't do that again. Bwahahahah. LOL

I have one of these in an acrylic dome paperweight. Got it as a gift 50 years ago and still marvel at it. Just beautiful.

A client has their front yard ringed with them and gave me a jar of jelly last year. Amazing flowers and wonderful smell.

There is a house in a town nearby that has a stunning display of white puffball trees. Hydrangea trees.

I actually have a few bushes of puffballs but these were 10 food trees ringing his yard.

Might look into trimming and training a few of these like that.

The flowers are pretty but the vines are a bitch that overtake everything. I used to have a neighbor who was a pastor and he once explained there's a lot of biblical analogies exhibited in the flowers themselves. The only reason I haven't fully eradicated it is I do love the flowers, but on my property they're pestilent weeds.

I don't know bout that. There's nothing fun about watering the salt out of the rootball of an older bitchy plant. It's no fun taking care of older people either, but we gladly do it for love. It's a little harder to love a plant with the same depth. Unless it's a really killer pheno you just can't say goodbye to.
