Today’s results! Probably pushing 20 Gs! Heading in the right direction! From 2 g to 20 g give or take! Two washes! Probably twice as much material as last time! No work bag! Thanks, Nick! About equal amount between the first and second washes! Thanks Phyto! And I beat the hell out of it the second wash! Thanks, Moby! maybe we can start thinking about scaling this shit up a little! Probably will grate but thinking about a few days in the freezer and then a few days air drying and then press the whole patty! Well, maybe more than a few days drying! Probably depends on how long my grater lasts!

This has me thinking of that school experiment from back in the day. The one where you put a small coffee can (filled with a little sugar, milk, and vanilla extract) into a large coffee can (loaded with ice and salt) and roll it back and forth on a desk for 15 mins.

Anybody try this for hash yet? Leave out the salt and keep adding ice every 10-15 mins. You and a buddy get a 5gal can full of ice and 1 gal can full of frozen bud and water. Kick the can back and forth for an hour. Dump through your screens, rinse and repeat. I think you might be on to something bearwater!

Pressed the run from a few days ago this morning! Did a little better! Then spent most of the day doing another run! It looks like about the same amount! Takes me forever to do a couple of washes! Pitiful! flat spots nicely! I did a taffy video, but it won’t upload! You lucked out! Kind of hard to see! 24 g!

I removed the old material from the bottom of the can by hand and noticed that when my hands dried, and warmed up enough to have feeling, they were kind of sticky, so I think I was leaving a little at the bottom of the can on the table! Now I’m blasting it with the sprayer and picking it up and dumping it through the bags just to be on the safe side!

I've found that practice makes perfection.....

Reading through threads and following GNicks advise, I definitely found out that the room you're kiefin or hashin in needs to be cold also....

I say that because my first attempt at dry siftin, temps around 60ish⁰, didn't go over so well.....

But I'll be damned if the next time I sifted at around 40ish⁰, my haul almost tripled, maybe even quadrupled.....

There's that, and the other thing I found out, it could also just be me or my perspective, was the 2nd time shakin, I ended up with more than the first shake......

I’m with you, brother Bilber! I’ve been sifting for a couple of years and it is definitely a cold weather sport! But in order to do it right you need to static clean it as far as I’m concerned! And the climactic opportunities to do that around here are getting few and far between! Always a little on a humid side! With this garbage can shit the climate isn’t so important! Just need cold water! The Water does the cleaning for you! For the most part! I’ve tried two washes and got about the same amount from each one! Probably should be trying three, but that’s a lot of work and a lot of ice! But I need to do it just to see if it’s worth doing!

I cleaned my bags in this pan with 99.9 and when it evaporates this is what’s left! Stuck on there pretty good but scraping it off with a razor blade and seeing if I can do anything with it!
