Our myrtle crepe trees didn't even lose their leaves this year. They're usually bare by the time I take the Xmas lights down. Between the rain and the warmer temps, so much for a La Nina winter!

Yeah I was hoping for some snow but it looks like nothing for now. A few years ago we got like 2 feet at the end of February though! So who knows about that. I just learned my lesson on putting anything young/starts out early! Had beautiful tomatoes plants one year for friends and family, like 15 of them on the back porch! Went to town one afternoon and couldn’t get back home in time enough to save them. I got like 3 lol!

have i mentioned im going to be working on a green house this year!?

Yes it's in the 30's here in the early a.m. heats up to 50ish. My damn grass is still growingaround Feb is when it really starts raining or snowing. I hate going outside to do chores in the cold, but i also don't want to pay to have it done for yet either. Keeps me semi healthy LOL

Man those are so beautiful in bloom. Pinks, reds, purples they are outstanding trees.

I hear you! Im still young and spry kind off (slowing down a little) but i do all the yard work and maintenance here at my place. home ownership and the American dream my ass!

been trying to talk my family into getting some shipping containers and moving out into the sticks (im in a forested neighborhood and hate it) LOL.

but yeah im definitely counting on getting blasted here in another month : ) in the sense of not gettting things started too early. or at least having things ready and covered.
