I love to visit. We had a room overlooking Lake Cyamaca (San Diego local mountains) a few February's ago and walking out to the balcony it was a winter wonderland. Paid $100 for the night and wanted to stay another (week night) and they wanted reg $329 we said, SEE YA👋 Then they text us back ok ok same price. We, and one other couple were the only ones staying there and no hotel personal on site. It's some zen resort, still there I believe, new at the time and we got a cheap room on booking dot com. It was incredible, I got pics on a memory stick somewhere. The Mrs wantwd to go see the snow and we get to Julian, a bit over half way up there's bearly any snow against the curbs from the morning plowing. Bits and pieces of snow here and there but not much on the way up the mountain. Mrs was bummed, no snow and we haven’t visited in several years. Then we turn the corner toward the lake and everything was blanketed in white. Winter Fking Wonderland. A jacuzzi outside also overlooking the lake, we got in, it was like 100F. Just one of those times that really rocked🥰

BTW the pH comment is general, not implying what's going on in your tent. Probably the biggest recent shock I got was with a bag of Black Gold I decided to try, it has a lot of peat and I let it sit a minute before I used it... just for shits and giggles I threw a pen in the runoff of a pot I'd thrown a couple seedlings into, damn thing came back 8.7 holy fuk. Fighting bugs and hard RH swings, last thing I need is the soil giving me shit too but I did that to myself. 🤣

I feel ya on crazy runoff. I just stopped caring though. This potting mix I'm in now runs off at pH 3.5 and EC 7.5 ATM but the plants are happy so I couldn't give a flying fuck anymore.

Pretty much why I just wing it for the other 364 days of the year. Don't know why I even checked tbh. Just creates stress. I just prefer to look at the plants now.

90% of the issues i see these days are from people trying to fix things before they've even shown their issues. Just leads to constantly chasing numbers.

And speaking of hormones, ICC mom is still showing signs of low auxins with the tops showing flat but it's snapping out of it and I am probably good to snag a couple recovered tops to root.

Gifted plants got heavily abused with their quarantine treatment and fans show it, but new growth coming in looking real nice.

THIS is why we're hated🤣 I'm working on the greenhouse (taking a break🤣) after installing a garage disposal. In the 80's today again. Beautiful😍

Cup full of ballpoint and paint pens and the potting mix is just the same cheap bagged potting mix the other autos are in. Has a bunch of ultracote red jacket prills in it from the bag (think they are like 19-4-10). Been using it as a water only medium for a while now. Here's the mother it came off (feels odd to say that about an auto)
