Winter is coming.
Just a question. In a bad winter storm does everyone sit around eating French toast?
Eggs bread and milk. Always first to go.
Next time I'm looking in the syrup isle to confirm my suspicions that winter storms are made by the evil consortium of Big Eggs, Big Dairy and Big Bread.

And if so.........get there 1st and buy all the syrup!! Double the price on the way out the door

Went to town yesterday. Harbor Freight packed. Walmart packed. Local Grocery packed. People pushing, people shouting, it was pandemonium. I got my JD and my Chips and I ran.

And apparently people shit more during a snow storm, still 2 days till the storm gets here but not a roll of toilet paper on the shelves.

If I’m expecting a storm with a chance of power outages, the absolute last thing I would do is load up on perishable food items. I usually just fill some food grade five gallon buckets with clean water. If I lose power I can still use my gas stove and propane grill outside. I figure if the freezer has plenty of food that’s going to either thaw or stay frozen depending on the time of year. Over the last six years most of our power outages happen during winter.
