Current run: Apple Strudel auto from FastBuds.

Using an Autopot system with coco coir/perlite and an airdome. Added clay pebbles on top to stop gnats and potential molds with 100% success rate so far. Stickies are clean.
I decided to always sow in a smaller container doing 1 up pot around week 2-3 as I have had little success with putting seeds in their final container.

Using Canna Coco A+B, Rhizotonic, PK. Plagron Silic Rock, Ph Up, Lemon Kick and and CalMag.
Build her up slowly over those weeks to 2.0-2.2EC going from 6-6.2Ph to 5.8Ph. Always with max CalMag.
Now she's on 2.7-2.8EC, 5.7-5.8Ph with PK incoming in about a week I think and then slowly building back down to 2.0EC for the last 2 weeks. I dont believe in flush.

are you in europe? have you heard of soft secrets magazine ? i get mine from my local hydro shop but you can read them online , each issue has some sort of troubleshooting guide as well as a strain review and other interesting stuff.

Could start a team with the amount of baseball bats she's pumping out. I dont think she'd be able to without help of an autopot. Best purchase in a while, thinking about a second one. It's also very nice that regarding pot size you can stay small. This lady is in a 2.2gal pot reaching over 5'7" (or 8.5L, 1.7m+)

Important to really read their step by step so it works well. Not hard to set it up but once its in there you cant change much medium/pot wise.

The tiny one in the corner: Purple Haze auto from FastBuds.

Was a bit more agressive on the nutebuilding and Ph in turn she seems to have grown slower. I'm very sure the lower Ph slowed her down during initial rooting and her 1st real leaves.

She's in a 50/50mix of potting soil/perlite which was preamended for ~100days, buffered at 6.2-6.5Ph, a layer of clay pebbles at the bottom and some micorrhiza. Getting
silic, calmag and kelp adds with waterings. This is to see how my upcoming outsiders would respond to this mix.

She actually took well to the soil, is visibly stretching and roots are running out the bottom. She's about 1ft and is said to grow up to 3,5ft. We'll see how far she comes.

There is one thing about the Apple Strudel which, after looking it up, seems to be a technique used on some plants like tomatoes and cannabis.
As I was filling up her container with wet coco, it broke her at the base. Only had her 1st set of leaves besides the cotys. Clean, visible 90 degree break. Oops.
I straightened her up, spread the coco and I shit you not a day later she had magically grew the entire 2nd set of leaf (she was missing one leaf as well), alrdy building the 3rd. Day later the 3rd set was over halfway.

I think that break is what made her go nuts with the roots, coming back twice as strong. Like a supercrop. Gonna test it with 3 Northern Light autoflowers where 1 will be broken at birth. For science.

She's been very vigilant. Had to do a second supercrop in the back because another cola tried taking over. Also have to strap the main down again because she just keeps going.

Wonder when the stretch stops. But the stacking on these branches is muy gordo.

Stretching is finally done. The starting smell rn reminds me of Berry Moonrocks, very sour and sweet like manderins.

Taking a guess at about 3 more weeks. Been really trying to drive that wattage up without stressing. Starting at 140w at morning, 210w from afternoon to evening and then back to 140w till midnight. But if she keeps showing issues from the intensity, 140w it is till the end.

Also found that my res has been acting up more since using citric acid and kelpextract. Was assuming it was the kelp (bottle said safe for all growsetups) so i stopped it for now to test. Reason i switched to citric is I also started using mycorrhiza and stuff like phosphoric acid can kill it.

She's been taking up a gal a day easy and roots are starting to reach over the copper disc towards the valve. Cant take a proper pic cause its tucked away too far.
Started with 1/3 dose PK two days ago and will go up to 2/3 today with the refill. Full dose in 2 days and then stop to start the build off towards harvest. If it wasnt for this autopot doing the heavy lifting..

To add: She actually showed something similar to ca/mg deficiency with spots at new tips of new growth and interveinal yellowing with some purple streaks on newer parts. She's getting max CalMag. I've read it to be either lightstress, her taking up too much water too fast or an actually deficiency. Turning down lights fixed the yellowing but she still shows the purple. VPD is hitting 1.1 at the bottom to 1.5 around bud hight and 1.8 above the lights. Adding a bit more calmag didnt fix it either so I'm left with her drinking too much? I'm not going to stress about it, she's doing great. I'm just wondering.

One plant forest stocked on buds from top to bottom.

Regarding the res acting up I got the mention of citric acid being the instigator for other bacteria to bloom. Should use it for quick ph adjustments when fertigating by hand. Not in a reservoir. Went back to phosphoric acid and it stopped the blooming, keeping ph more stable as well. Might kill the micorrhiza but consessions have to be made.

Little purp still holding on. Hasnt stunted anymore.

She's slow but on her way. She's at 1,5ft so lets hope she at least gets to 2. Pref 3. For her being in a low effort setup with generic potting soil, some micor, perlite and plain water, she's doing fine. Next one i will also mix in some wormcastings.

So day 69. Looks like an indica, stretches like a sativa, flowers like a photoperiod. Pistils slowly started turning orange. Nice and all but she's just about to start wk11, with her possibly scratching into wk13 or even longer. Havent had an auto do less than 11wks yet, no matter the size.

Lights turned back down to 140w, res ec is at 2.2 and Ph at ~6.0. She still takes up 1.something gal every day and hasnt slowed down.

This fkn Purp tho is a mystery to me. She looks fine but also kind of wacked?

Some Mg defi showed up at new growth but her wateruptake is weird. The pot dries up at the top within 2 days but it took 3 WEEKS for the entire thing to dry up. She also decided somewhere mid stretch that she had enough and just stopped stretching..? There's a bunch of white clean roots coming out the bottom so that's not the issue.

Is it just genetics? Bad seed? Is it that 1x fertigation at the start too many too fast? Fert. Ph just a tad too low when starting out in coco?

Good reminder why i didnt like autos, none of them do what is expected.

Quick question. Is this anything to worry? Could be this or that but i dont want to make assumptions. She's at day 74, last 1-2 weeks of flower.
