White Diesel Haze Autoflower at 19 days old today. My first grow have a couple lemon skunks 4 days younger. My question is: Is this normal or a mutation on the white diesel haze? It seems to have a vertical branch on top of each of the 2 branches per node. Is that 4 branches? Or something else. And are they potentially more big bud sites? And if so how to maximize yield.

Ok found it.. its whorled phyllotaxy and its common

Yeah. That's not whorled phyllotaxy. That's opposite phyllotaxy, which is how they start. Eventually, a sign of plant maturity is alternate phyllotaxy.

Those are your actual branches.
Each node starts as a leaf. The branch grows out from between the main stalk and the leaf.

Bring legal to grow in my state, finally gave me a chance to watch the plant grow thru each of its life cycles, instead of the ol, set and forget, gorilla grows that I only checked in on a few times a season. It was pure enlightenment.

Plant looks good.👍
