Unless you have plans for a trip I'd go ahead and germinate those seeds. It would give you time to flip them, sex them and get to practice cloning 😉 So 2 months in veg then flip them. Cut some clones an root those for couple months.
I just found another seed in a gelato an decided to go ahead an germinate it an have 3 in my tent hopefully it will be female. Then you can keep those Moms on flower mode. I love cloning

Thanks all, I asked the question 'cause I have a few regular seeds that may be Septoria resistant, but I need to verify they're female BEFORE putting them in the garden.
From my understanding from a member here...grow till 10-12" tall, then flip to 12/12 untill pistols show, then back to 16/8 to reveg.

Now u know what's what., to put into the garden.

I know the one I popped last year took approximately 3 months before it revealed itself, from time it was a seedling.

Thanks Galgrows, that's basically what I want to do. I don't want to have huge plants to set outside, which is why I was thinkin a couple clones instead.
So, grow for a month, take a couple clones off each, flip to 12/12, either the clones or the originals to determine sex, then identify which to keep and which to..... (eek)

Thanks, 3 months eh? Okay, that gives me a time frame to work out.

I would take clones only when you know the sex. So flip them before you take clones. LOL you can do it!💪💃

Yup. Easy. You got the indoor where you control all the conditions. Take full advantage😉
So true. If I could, I would pop regs.
Some day... maybe. Still thinking on that one.
At least by doing so, you'd be transplanting a plant strong enough to handle the shock of it all. And it'd be in the 20" tall range, with branches.🎄🤣

The problem won't be figuring out male or female.

If you start now it's 4 1/2 months growth indoors. Plants will be huge. I'd wait at least a month, probably more.
I guess if it's for outdoor you need around 25 days for it to mature and when it shows sex you flip it back.cant remember how long it takes to resume veg.start 12/12 if you want small plants

Glad you didn’t get caught in that 100 car pile up! It was 74 here yesterday!😈😆
Thanks, no, I don't go anywhere in the winter without a good reason. Hubby enjoys shopping so I leave him to it, but it's all local. (Or it's Amazon. LOL)
And thanks, but I don't need to know how warm it is in your 'neck o the woods'. LOL

I'm fairly certain my indoor NL plants were started very soon after yours but yours are much further along. I suppose it's probably because yours are autos while mine are fems? Anyway mine are into flower now but I'm sure will need a couple more months at least.

Yep, mine are Autos and hopefully will be done soon. Yours are looking great!

Outdoors last yea i planted caps regs and it was dead on 50/50 m/f ratio, worked out well. Cant do autos Outdoors here so I never really run autos anymore. They can be good though with the newer genetics, very comparable ✌️
